Well I used to dislike her old songs a lot before. But when I actually decided to try out all her older albums, they completely grew on me. I can surely say that I think SWEET 19 BLUES is one of her best albums. It took really a long time until they grew on me though, and I remember thinking "This sounds so outdated and terrible", but I know how wrong I was today. If you give it more chances, you can get to like anything, really. If nothing, that's what music has taught me.

Personally, I know anything CAN grow on me. But I really don't like it when I have to let something do that.

I prefer songs that just instantly click with me. Like YEAH-OH.


@heavenly: there's a good amount of people who feel this way I think never have any worries.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but here in Japan, Youtube is using the live painting, as well as the soccer commercial, as the commercials before videos start.

Just noticed the live painting one today, but the soccer cm has been since maybe a few weeks ago? Her team is making efforts at promotion, which is really nice.
