BENI to release a new song for 4 consecutive months

BENI will digitally release a new song for four consecutive months from July to October. The first song will be titled "Chasin' feat. IO" will be released on July 6.

This will be BENI's first release in over a year. It's a jazzy R&B number featuring KANDYTOWN's IO and arranged by KANDYTOWN's Neetz.

On the song, the singer commented, "People are always chasing after something whether it's love or something else. The song and lyrics portray the sadness and impatience upon nearing that thing you're chasing, the excitement and expectation you get the moment you're about to obtain it, and the feeling of emptiness when you realise that the game is over once you finally have it in your hands."

Chasin' is alright but I'm not a fan of IO's vocals :s

Another thing about Chasin' is that the song gets quite repetitive after a while while some might not like it as it's quite slow sounding , I'm fine with this though

Fanclub balloting for BENI “The Show” LIVE TOUR 2018 hasn't opened yet

Cost of BENI “The Show” LIVE TOUR 2018 ticket is ￥5,000 per piece & you have to pay another separate charge for a drink prior to entering the venue (probably ￥500 or ￥600 ?)

For general ticket balloting , it probably will start in June if not maybe next month

Alternatively you can buy tickets on the day of the concert but you're taking a risk for that & your ticket number wouldn't be that good

Tokyo Kinema Club can accommodate about 600 fans for a non seated concert

I'm always really confused about BENI's marketing strategies. She releases singles and albums whenever she feels like without warning and tours like there's no tomorrow barely changing the setlists from one tour to another.

I wonder if it works for her

My feeling is that after BENI released BEST All Singles & Covers Hits , she probably signed another contract that was handled by another sub record label that Universal manages

I do admit that BENI's releases & her tour schedules have been quite unpredictable from Forever onwards . If not why up to now BENI didn't released another concept season theme EP after 2016's Shiki Uta summer

Shiki Uta summer EP didn't sell well which was a shame as I like the concept of it as it was something different

The up side is that at least for BENI's videos that're uploaded on YouTube and also her physical releases , there's no region code to worry about
