I've listened to CDL 06-07's evolution and compared with CDL 07-08's. And ayu li-sync'd the repeating parts. That's all.

Lip-syncing issue...

She doesn't lip-sync in unite, but sometimes her voice gets weaker and you hear the back-track more than you can hear her live voice. I'm watching from a video, so I wouldn't completely know. Maybe her voice gotten really weak so the backtrack kinda took over (it happens in Koda Kumi concerts. She doesn't really lip-sync either, but sometimes the back-tracking with take over more. It varies within songs).

Maybe for a while her voice gotten all wonky and it wasn't really working so she really needed a few song-break of vocal rest? I dunno...as long as she doesn't make too much a habit of it on every concert I'm okay.

Kikaru is totally right.. ther are 2 ways of lip-syncing.. I never saw Ayu moving her lips to the words without singing.. BUT!.. there is something that it in the middle of live and lip-sync... Ayu did this during AUDIENCE @ Music Station... If Ayu signs, you'll hear her voice... but if Ayu doesn't sing, there's still (a softer) Ayu-voice you hear.. That way Ayu doesn't need to sing that 'loud' and she can sometimes skip a few lines.. she did this during a FLY HIGH live too, at an award IIRC...

agreed, that isn't a fact, considering evolution and step YOU are quite easy to sing. The difficult songs to sing are all the ones Ayu struggled with that concert due to her recent deafness. And get some proof if you want to state it as a fact.

I agree about STEP you, but evolution is not an easy song to sing! She even dances through the whole song, and as it's fast, she tends to go out of breath really quickly.

I don't care about this fact at all. If she has to dance a lot, there's no problem in it for me. She rarely does it anyway.

Haha this is so funny.. i am not here to instigate but the video is there for everyone to watch. What other proof do u want? I find it hard to believe that ayu lip-synched during STEP you in CDL 0708.. but the thing is that ayu really did. just try to accept the fact. i wun be surprised anyway that ayu lip-synched. it's tiring!

it's jus like the police having a video of a murderer killing someone but that cannot be used to proof anything unless the murderer admit it himself or his parents confirming it lol... then whats the point of the video?

because a video of ayu in concert is open to interpretation, unlike a murder caught on film... *shrug*

@ alternarist: Not saying that she didn't (because I have my suspicions, but I'm meh about it), it is hard to know unless you're there live, and I believe I remember Hilarydufffanboy (who was there) told us that it wasn't lip-syncing. Videos are one source of proof, but it's not all the source of proof.

And beside, the translation wasn't clear anyways on that performance (not the CDL one). Anyhow, I actually strongly suspects she did, but I can't lay it down as facts. And I think some people are arguing not for the fact that she didn't lip-sync, but for the fact that some people are laying it down as absolute facts.

AT 05 Game/ My name´s
AT 06 Step u / ladies Night
AT 07 M / appears
CDL 07 - 08 Step u / Evolution

I really prefer lip-synched in these songs because she can focus better in dance and the show (We already saw the vocal disaster in ladies night in the past CDL when she sang in live)

Don´t missundertand me, I LOVE when ayu sings in live, but some songs like (don´t) leave alone or My name´s Women MUST be with lip-synched to have an AWESOME show like just ayu can give us. I prefer a beautiful show than be worried about if ayu is singing live or not.

For the most part, we've only seen DVD video of one concert for most shows..

People who actually went to see the shows tell us otherwise, and imo, their opinions >>>>>>> the people's opinions on the DVD.

Even though we have video, how do you know for sure? Did you see her singing for real during each of those tours? Just because it looks lipsynched on the DVD doesn't mean that she did that for the entire tour.

Well, we have 2 people that actually went to the 07-08 concert and said that ayu didn't lip-sync, I doubt she lip-synced the others as well

i dont think she lip-synched in AT 05 and 06. It doesnt sound like it at all!

for AT 07, i can guarantee u that ayu didnt lip-synched (at least not for the concert in HK). Cos she forgot 2 lines in AUDIENCE and nothing came out.. SO it's obvious that she didn't lup-synched..

for CDL0708, i am pretty sure she lip-synched STEP you.. not sure for evolution.
