Thank you for the info!

It seems that hikki's single's doing crap as expected. >_<
It was totally unnecessary to release it!
I hope it won't ruin HS sales.

Though I'm surprised actually 'cause I thought hikki can pull it through!

well at least it wouldn't for sure drop outta the top10 wouldn't it ?

Ken Hirai released Itsuka ... from his FAKIN' POP album & it practically killed his top10 streak .

Ok not really since he has some songs that didn't debut in the top10 but I still wish he did not released Itsuka as a recut single but I suppose the saving grace's that the promo pics are great

Re-cut singles shouldn't be released at all imo...
But if they have to so the companies should at least limit them XD

I know cos you can tell that recut singles are rarely done in the japanese music scene + it wouldn't sell well at all so what's the point in doing that

All cos of the M word - $

I don't care how much it sales, as long as it's in the top 5. Hikki has a precious recored to hold on to until the end of this year. I agree with Triple D, PoL sales will prolly rise after Last Friends airs. They'll more than likely to advertise PoL during the CM break. So I'm not too much worried....for now.

Go Ai! I hope her single continues to do well. *is starting to become an Ai fan*

Edit I wonder where PUFFY debuted, it's def. my favourite release this week. <3

Edit 2 #21.

I expected Prisoner Of Love to sell poorly relative to her other singles, but I do hope that at the very least, the song's promotion will help HEART STATION sales. She's not in million-sales territory just yet.

It seems that Otsuka is the next who will follow BoA's fate, sadly her popularity really went down since she released LOVE PiECE, plus Pocket sold poorly as well. And jeez why are people still buying re-cuts XD. I'd like to see Ai get #2, Prisoner of Love doesn't deserve it.

I wonder why ? is it the music that ai's making or what ?

Go Hikki! Take over the charts gurl. I'm so happy for her. It seems that LA didn't give it much of a boost though. I hope the weekend is better for both HS and PoL.

Go Superfly! They might actually get #1 two week in a row.

Exactly how does PoL doesn't deserve the #2 spot?! It deserves it as much as Ai deserves it as well.

As for the re-cuts, I think it's still a good idea...but only in Hikki's case. People had to buy her album during the airing of LA just listen to PoL. But now that the single is out, it can save people money by just buying the single instead of a whole album for one song.

And the Ai sales/popularity situation, I think it was terrible mistake on AVEX to shove Ai in people's face again after Love Piece was just released. I think people weren't expecting her release in a while. Plus, it's been a minute since she has released and doing that time, people might her lost interest in her.

It's pretty simple, they put 0 effort into producing the single (POL) at least thats the way I think. Nevertheless it seems that both the singles have a slim chance to sell more than 100k.

^ Gotta agree with you there. "Quiet Version", wtf? Plus the cover is ****. If it wasn't re-cut maybe it'd be different. Wait, never mind. -Listens to Rocket Sneaker-

Also, I'm quite happy with how PUFFY's single is doing, it's still in the top 30 today. Not bad for a song completely in English!

Their last single only got in the top 60.

Well, I really disagree with what you're saying, and there should not be any talk in this thread of who "deserves" or "don't deserve" high sales. Hikki made a great song that is probably going to beat Ai this week, obviously she is doing something right to garner those sales.

Poor Ai ~! ;o;~! WAHHH~! She lost to a re-cut single with a double-A side.... =( I think she needs to take a break and comeback refreshed =( The sales seem to only be bad from here on in.

^It's only the second day so, u can't judge by only that. Ai prolly will comeback up tomorrow. FOr now, I'm just happy that both Ai and Hikki are taking 2 of the 3 spots. I hope they both surpass the 50k mark this week.
