and about a statement someone made earlier

Namie has had a little 2 year thrill where she waits to put out an album for 2 years, it started with Style and I'm only speaking about Original Studio Albums anyways Style was released 2003, then QOHP came out in 2005, and then PLAY which felt like an eternity to be released came out in 2007, so I'm not really surprised that a new studio album should be released this year in 2009, it's one of her habits, which I both love and hate. I love it because her album feels like it has a better flow and contains more tracks with quality, but on the other hand I hate it because of the fact that it takes forever for a new album of hers to come out!

i'm just glad jpop releases singles, or else we'll wait for 2 years without one little preview of a new song

^I know I hate the way american music takes forever, they only release 1 single and then 8 months late you finally get an album, kinda dumb but smart at the same time, but I feel like the albums don't have too much quality as they do quantity, even though Namie has had 12 songs on these last 2 studio albums I still find the albums to be higher and quality and would rather not prefer she had songs that are fillers.

that's true , there's always pros & cons

for me I like that she doesn't rush in releasing a new album unlike some avex artistes that I know *COUGH* where it's a known fact that quite a lot of avex artistes place quality over quantity a great deal

if it's true that she will be releasing a new album after PLAY , I'm game for it . It's about time I say

Does Namie release new songs in March/April all the time? I remember someone said it is because she wants to forget about her mom accident that happened in March/April?

Must be just a coincidence though, like how a lot of Namie albums are released in July.

her March releases are often incorporated into additional perf for her current Tour/shows
e.g. Alarm, 60s7080s, WILD/Dr., etc.

I know a couple pages back I posted that I need help with 2 Namie tour dvd's since mine are completely ruined and I'm royally pissed! Well I found Live Style 2006 on JPS and it just finished downloading 10 min. ago, but I still need SOHP so I was wondering if anyone here can help me out, I really want the .iso file for this torrent.

I remember when Namie released Alarm, there was a news about it.

Namie brought her Alarm single CD to her mom graveyard and prayed to her mom. It reported that Namie cried a lot front of her mom grave.
I am sure she would release material more often in March/April. On the one hand, she wants her mom to "see" her success. On the other hand, she loves her mom a lot.

yeah & it's hard to believe that it has been about 10 years+ since that happened

her mum definitely must have been proud of what Namie has able to accomplish so much since then

i think that namie should forget about her moms murder though, to move on with her life and be happy for what her virtue now like HARUTO and her dogs

^I agree. If my mother was murdered so cruelly as Namie's was, I would have a hard time to forget it. :/

I also agree about the quality of her last two albums. I really adore PLAY because it does has better quality than most of the albums and the singles were also a lot better than many other artists I've been listening to.

Agreed, it's imposible to forget your mother dying is such a terrible way, not even able to get to knwo her onw grandson x___X

it's too terrible to even think about it and namie is going to live with this pain till she dies...


The album is bound to be great! And yes, namie maybe takes much time but the quality of her releases is always good. Not only the songs itself but also the quality of the cd as an item.
