Yes, sadly I have to agree with you. She just doesn't sound the same as before in my ears. I've felt this way almost a year now. :<

Yes and even her singles are all veeeeery similar to each other one main track (most of the time a ballad) then 2 b-sides(a cute one a and a mid-tempo).

I loved it in the beginning, but it's boring if it's the same all the time...

For some reason, even though I have lost interest in Kana; she will still always release that ONE R&B ballad that has a melody that tears me apart because it's so good. I gave no ***** about the Love Place era; but Tatoe Donna Ni... is one of her best songs ever!

Kana is still so vanilla. The good safe choice. Most everyone likes it. But, gets boring fast.

I used to be okay with a-side ballads, because the b-side were usually fun and experimental. But, even this has gotten predictable.

I also wonder if its her, or if its her team that keeps things so mellow.
