Oh yay! Kuu's hair is longer. I love that look. The colour is ok to me.

And about Aisho, if it's Koda Kumi, what wouldn't be the nam of her song~

"aishou" can mean a lot of things, but the kanji she used for the song doesn't mean prostitute. If you're basing it solely on pronunciation then it can mean sorrow, grief, fondness for singing, pet name, love of reading, compatibility...

Well I searched "Aisho" on Jisho.org and it came up with multiple meanings, one including prostitute.

Edit; Yeah, Kaiouforever basically explained it. :]

^ I think it does, because I remember talking about it with someone who who was studying a lot of Japanese culture, and I cracked a lame joke about it.

Maybe in the PV she's a prostitute, and her lover doesn't think she's going to be faithful so she tries to prove her love? Just sayin'. -Has never seen the PV.-

Actually, I was always wondering why she chose to wear her obi at the front for the Aishou PV (which personally, I think A, it looks awkward, and B, it's what prostitute does in the traditional Japanese culture).

I like the new hair.

I remember reading that in Memoirs of A Geisha last year. Sayuri's sister who got sold to a ***** house had to wear her obi tied in the front. They said it was tied in the front since it's easier to take off since they're always having sex. It distinguished them from the more civilized geisha.

Yeah, Kumi was portraying a high class courtesan I believe. Not a geisha and not just a prostitute.

I like that PV. I think it's pretty. But then again I have a certain weakness for gorgeous kimono...

you gotta be careful! =P
its "Aishou" with an extra U or elongated sound at the end...
changing the spelling/pronunciation can change the word completely...

in the PV she was portraying an "Oiran" which was a courtesan back in the olden days...
They were the high class "entertainers" for the really rich which explains her kimono...
Its really big and elaborate because they're upper class...

Their services would include singing, dancing, and then sex. Except in this case you'd have to make your meeting with them by appointment. Haha. And pay a crapload of cash for their services.

And when you still look at it, it's the same as a prostitute except OIRAN gets paid a bit more than a normal prosititute! (>_>)_
