Wow. I have been shut down! HAHAHAHA. I don't even know what I think of it. She told me (we talk through DM's on twitter a lot) that she's scared of what people will think of her new photo album/dvd. She said she hopes people will see it as a representation of the sexual strengths of women.

Surprisingly, I'm seeing that photo as something "artistic" more than "****ty". Purely because it's a single shot of her, not a photo of her with a whole bunch of guys and her shoving a wine bottle up her snatch (remember JUICY video? lol)

This picture is a very nice photo of her because it shows how much she has grown into a woman. I'm supportive of her with this decision and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. She's a dear friend of mine and I'm going to support her even when I disagree with her. Which in this case, I don't disagree. I think this photo is empowering, yet vulnerable at the same time. All in all, I've decided it's beautiful.

misono, ayumi hamasaki, koda kumi, maki-goto, lady gaga, britney spears, utada hikaru, namie amuro have all used a photo of them appearing without a shirt. Why can't Nami?

It does seem to be the fashion for female singers to be celebrating their bodies lately~ I think she hasn't done it in a ****ty way, or even an overly sexy way...she's covering everything that a bikini would. It looks kind of vulnerable really.~

I agree with you exactly! I think it looks very beautiful =) We can't pretend there's no such thing as the naked body, Nami has one.


A few of you are saying it's disgusting.What is disgusting about the body of anyone... especially Nami I think if she has it she should flaunt it. Surprisingly she REALLY has it. So I'm proud of her.

The guy who took this photo also does covers for VOGUE and BAZAAR which is good. Because at first I was like "I hope to GOD she didn't do this in a porn studio."

I love them. They're all so sexy/beautiful/amazing. I like the first one, and the one when she's in the tank or something... i don't know what it is haha. I like the one when she's sitting by the stairs because it shows of her legs

THEY'RE ALL GREAT! She did a really good job. Only one I don't like is the one of her pushing her cleavage. It's too amateur :/ the rest are all good and show how mature she's aged She has a geewwwddd body haha.

Well, when an artist does something this different, people complain of it not being like them..and when they stick to what's normal, people complain it's boring She's done something really out of her 'comfort zone' image wise, and I don't think it means anything but her pushing her limits and experimenting more with her image.

None of them are vulgar, or are really anything but Nami showing off what she has And if I looked as half as good as she does, you bet I'd be doing the same.

Now let's hope the DVD is as good!

And to those calling it disgusting; well, if that's your opinion, then fair enough. But keep in mind that's she's not exactly pushing her boobs in your face, or imitating sex. She was always naked under those clothes So don't judge so much.
