OMFG, I don't even know if we're talking about the same 4 but my fab 4 are: Kumi, Namie, Hikki and Ayu! And yes, I actually call them the Fab 4

aiko is awesome BTW. I hope she does so awesome with this new single

I guess the 3 female artists who indeed represent the JPOP music are Ayu, Hikki and Namie (though Namie isn't my fave singer, as I prefer BoA and Hitomi Shimatani). Ami, Ku, BoA, Otsuka, Mai Kuraki, Shimatani and a few others had their primes in certain periods but they've never done what the first 3 have. So I'd stick with the BIG3 ^^, imo.

considering that her new song's used as an insert tune to Hana Yori Dango Final movie , it might sell decently

the only thing I don't understand's why she didn't release this earlier in a bid way to cash in

I think aiko's record label didn't had the foresight in releasing it around the same time as the movie as it will definitely rank up sales

it did wonders for One Love , chart performance & sales wise

Well, she's not unloved if you'd compare the situation to how it was a year ago.. D: I think the situation is fine right now.. we don't need 60 threads of her to say that she's loved.

I think PONY CANYON knows what they're doing.. and One Love sold a bit less than Step and Go, so I wouldn't actually say that the tie-in did wonders.

I guess but in just 3 weeks , the sales of One Love has already overtaken Step and Go

current estimated sales for One Love - 392,738*

estimated sales for Step and Go - 374,449*

somemore it's not often that their single has stayed in the top 5 for so long & One Love just need about 8-9K + to hit 400K when next week rolls out !

after 3 weeks Step and Go was at no.15
