nah I think the HK press will be out 2 days after it's being released in Japan . If you're lucky , on the same day as Japan's release date

to me it's not worth it to buy the Japan press if the artiste I support has OS presses of their material

I don't mind waiting a while as I can save like 1/2 or even 2/3 of what if I have to pay for a Japan press

i love the theme of this shoot, and besides that, KUMI just looks so beautiful. the original covers were shot by Leslie Kee and i wonder if they had him shoot these to make it feel more authentic. what i noticed about Leslie Kee vs. Kazuyoshi is that the covers she's done with Leslie feel a bit more "natural" and even when they're posed, they don't feel quite as stiff. compare the covers of 4 hot wave and Black Cherry to something like 3 SPLASH or FREAKY. to me, there's a definite difference.

i don't mind the tracklist being the way it is because i have the songs that were excluded on other CDs and this just feels like a neat package to me. i agree i wish there'd be more goodies like a poster or a bonus booklet or something like that.

i think there's a definite difference between Namie's latest covers and these, because these are paying homage to KUMI's past and showing her change as an artist, whereas Namie's are saying forget the past, this is the future.

i'm probably going to get the 2CD+DVD version unless i get really tempted and by all 3... but i think i would only do that if there were some bonuses that the other versions had, which doesn't seem to be the case. if i lived in Japan, the chaku uta deal would be really nice since i wouldn't have to purchase the chaku utas separately.

anyway, that's my little rant... i am excited about this project even though i recognize it's not perfect and i can see why some people would be upset over it.

^ Yea I normally get the OS press of her singles. But albums, I like to support her on Oricon so I get JP versions. There's really no difference other than the amount of money you spend & the addition to Oricon.
