Have you guys ever seen the TV show that aired in England in 2006 and they mentioned Namie, Ayu and Kumi? It's called Japanorama and the section lasts for like 1 minute but they say they're the 3 reigning queens of jpop. It's annoying though, they say that the three of them model themselves on western counterparts. Namie = J-Lo, Ayu = Madonna and Kumi = Christina Aguilera

thanks! if I'm able to meet Kumi like this my life will be complete! but she is a lot more private than Ayu and doesn't connect with her fan outside of performing, events, etc.

I think both Kuu & Ayu connect with her fans in different way.
As far as i know, before, Ayu almost never met her fans in a "private"; but I think she opens more since her overseas shooting Mirrocle World in Paris?

Meanwhile, Kuu hold mini concerts/live shows or events privately with her fans (not in a small scale tho), like Koda Cafe, inviting a fan on stage, fulfilling a fan's dream to be part of her dancers, Billboard Live, etc.

Omg yes. It's so damn catchy, when I first started listening to Kuu and exploring her music it was the first song I got stuck in my head lol. Maybe she'll do a 12 singles medley at Fantasia so maybe we'll get to hear at least 20 sec of it live, but I can only dream.

I hate how she never sings any of the 12 singles. She aways sings you, Shake It Up, and Someday and rarely she'll sing Candy but that's it.

Well remember Kuu doesn't really know how to use computers that well. Ayu's very computer saavy, she's had a blog since before people even knew what a blog was and she's always on her iphone and laptop.

Koda probably doesn't even know she has fans outside of Japan.
