For reference. Arashi's latest album, the current #1 album of the year had a NINKI score of 502.20. Also, #1 single of the year, AKB48's Beginner had a NINKI score of 550.70....so this is not a low score it seems

Well many people thought the same way of Ayu during her prime and Utada at her... anytime (lol). There are lots of Arashi fans at this forum so I don't want to bash their favorite artists. As far as Jpop goes, I basically only listen to female solos (except for Tokyo Jihen, Remioromen, Kobukuro) so I want Hikki/Ayu/etc to be at the top... but there will always be a fad and right now this is it and I've accepted it I guess, haha.

I don't think it was bashing...just my personal opinion that they're undeserving. Oh well.

Deep in my heart I hope hikki will take the yearly no. 1 title again, but I won't set my hope too high because getting million sales before the deadline is quite hard, and I dun really know if hikki has that selling power at this moment.

Even Vol. 1 could not get over 1.5m on the first week, so I doubt SC2 can create such miracle.

I'm not feeling that worried about the sales. Hikki has always sold really well with her albums (well in Japan at least) and I may seem a bit too confident when I say I believe she can sell a million with her album eventually. She deserves that for her hard work. <3
