Plus KKS are part of the group and it has nothing to do with the record label. And SKE is a sister group and under some other record company.

It does seem like putting them all under one label is a better idea but like dreamland said, it's actually better for both the group and management.

Think about it: While the labels do get a share of profits, they have to take care of all the promotion, the distribution, basically does all the work and all AKS has to do is kick back, make money and get free promotion for the main group. Plus, having all the subgroups scattered at different labels and the individual girls at different agencies ensures that the girls get the most exposure and attention they can get which leads to those million selling singles. Hello!Project is the example of what you get when you have all your main groups under one label and have all your girls managed by one agency. Limited budgets, limited exposure, poor promotion which equals: poor sales.

Their stage songs still have AWESOME quality Mokugekisha, Itoshisa no Accel, Hoshi no mukougawa, Matenrou no Kyori, Inochi no Imi, I'm Crying, RESET, Kanojo ni Naremasu ka?, Seifuku Resistance, Dokugumo, Hoshizora no Mistake, Yume no Kane, Ai no Stripper, Arashi no Yoru ni wa, Locker Room Boy, Team B Oshi!!
So many wonderful songs!

I still haven't listened to any songs that are so far stage-only except for Yuuwaku no Garter (which is INCREDIBLE). Are they really that good? And I agree with you on the "they can sell even without sex appeal" thing. I mean, it certainly helps, and it's good insurance in case the public doesn't exactly fall for the song, but just look at Sakura no Shiori...that was a friggin CHOIR song and it still sold extremely well. People love this group and its members and it's obvious why <3

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST OVERSEAS AKB48 THEATRE


There will a first overseas theatre in Singapore, performances will be held twice a month.
First show will be on 15th may by AKB48.

During the 2nd show onwards, AKB48/SKE48/NMB48/SDN48 will perform in Singapore too.

Ticket details will be out soon.

本日、劇場公演でも発表いたしましたが、AKB48がシンガポールにて、海外初の劇場形式の定期ライブを開 催することが決定いたしました。
　

定期ライブは、まずは月2回開催を予定し、初回は5月15日（日）に開催されます。

　

2回目以降はAKB48だけでなく、SKE48、NMB48、SDN48のライブを開催することも予定して います。

　

AKB48は香港にオフィシャルショップを構え、定期的にイベントを開催し、大好評を博しています。

　

日本だけでなく、世界で活躍できるアイドルグループに向けたAKB48の取り組みに応援のほど、よろしくお 願いいたします！

SERIOUSLY, i was making some really crazy wishes during the start of this year, and know that 99.99% they won't come true, but errrrr. ONE WISH JUST CAME TRUE!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!

wish 1: AKB48 having theatre performance in singapore every month, i can go there whenever i'm free, make more friends and everyone go and see AKB48 together.
Then, AKB8 will hit the local news and GET MORE FANS, kick assing those kpop fans in singapore.
seriously, i am sick of seeing lots and lots of kpop artist stuff/unofficial goodies in any other shops, even small kids are into kpop, it's too much, i want jpop to dominate back again. So yeah, it will be great to finally see more jpop around.

now all i need is ayu or kuu to announce a concert in singapore this year and my craziest wishes for THIS YEAR is complete.

I don't know about downloading but both are on Youku. For the first one just search は出るだろうけど、やっぱり生に限るぜ! and the second one you can put the whole title. Maybe only searching part of the title would help you find it at H!O and JPS.

So there was an announcement at the handshake event in Nagoya about a Stage revival.

Apparently it's going to be at Tokyo Dome Hall which used to be known as JCB hall. A, K, B, S and SDN stages are supposed to be performed.
