Bit of an update about my mother then. =P

She's really into globe and Gackt especially. Only she calls Gackt "our guy!". She doesn't like Hikki. Especially her Utada stuff since it "makes her nervous".

And her favorite J-pop song is "Real me". She loves the Engrish, haha.

hahahaha! my mom makes fun of the lyrics.. some tagalog words sounds like some words in japanese..

like in MoMusu songs... when they sang MANPOWER, they pronounce it like MA-PA-WA, then my mom says, MA-TA-BA, which means in tagalog, FAT. LoL.

one more song is Say Yeah!, when they sing MIRACLE, they pronounce it like, MI-RA-KO, then my mom says, BI-NA-TO, which means in tagalog, THREW.

my mom's funny when she sings it...

as for my sister, she sings the u-we u-we in LOVE Machine... hehehe.. yeah, it's mostly MoMusu, coz they're familiar with them, ive been playing MoMusu since 2001.

My mum does listen to some Jmusic I play but than says that it gives her a headache - I was watching NIGHTMARE's Alumnia PV and my mum asked why is the main singer crying for? she found his singing wierd
I did try to make my younger brother to listen to some Jpop Jrock but he prefers songs in English - The only songs he really likes are Because of you - Ayu and the guitar part in LuNa - Gackt

Haha.. Same with my parents, I think. They like evergreens.
My parents don't listen to Japanese music but they don't dislike it either.

My parents generally aren't fans of any J-Pop I listen to, especially my Dad.My brother is similar, but I have got him into a few songs. He likes Moments by Ayu, Losin' by Yuna Ito, and Get It On by Kuu is his favorite. By the way, he's 15.

My mom likes Mr.Children out of all the jpop artist out there.
As for my dad who happen to be a classical freak and considers other music genre "garbage", he is madly in love w/ Ladies Night.

My mom and dad are old asians, so they like enka... and by like I mean love. xD They love listening to enka and all of its/her/his cousins, such as the korean versions of it.

As I look around, I now realize that my parents are an endangered species in this forum, lol
