We believe that this home video style can work as it will show a natural and casual aspect of 2NE1

Yes but it can also turn out cheap and crappy if you ask me. Personally, I'd rather see an MV that's well directed, edited etc.

in Running man Bom mentioned that 2NE1 want to change their style because they started as 'scary unnies' and now they seem unapproachable to people
might it be the reason for them being that boring and failing with the comeback expectations?

but what about GD & BIG BANG held by YG being still different and acting a bit 'weirdo' with their concepts comparing to others?cannot understand how it can be okay for them to be like that and not good like that for 2NE1?

I think it's just a case of YG having NO IDEA. I Love You last year had a messy release and there were issues with the last mini too.

I think there's just somebody in their management that needs firing, because even if Falling in Love is meh, you can see that they enjoy performing something new.

I don't think it's wise to compare their next release with "I Am the Best." Gets people's hopes really up? What if it doesn't come close? Then you're just disappointed. I try not to expect anything from new releases, except that I'll hopefully really like them.

Sucks about the music video though. Their other concept could be cute though... or not. Guess we'll see.

^LOL this so much. If it weren't for watching 2NE1 on Running Man, I'd have completely lost hope in them.

I AM excited because it sounds like the next song will at least be fierce. I agree with taskinillusion though, I'm not going to hope for "I Am the Best" because I'm not sure if they can top that (we'll see) and tbh all of their 2nd Mini Album songs were gold so.....yeah.

Also, just some random thoughts on the 2NE1 Running Man Ep:

Watching CL in real life, I realized how different she is from her stage persona, lol. She's soo sooo boring on variety shows lol. I honestly think Minji and Bom shined the most on Running Man, and Minji can be boring in these type of shows too, but she was giving off a lot of energy.

I AM glad YG decided not to delay the release of the next song. I think he knew people would carry pitchforks to the YGE building.

I don't know guys, I feel like 2NE1 has lost a lot of that fierce spark with their recent songs (barring 'I Love You').....so I hope it comes back soon.

I know they said they wanted to evolve with 2NE1's style, but there IS such a thing as evolving in the same genre and not becoming boring....lol.

I think that's the main thing for me, it's like....their recent songs are all one or two play-throughs for me, whereas with their previous material, I had the songs on repeat like 24/7.

Agreed. I loved I Am The Best and I would love another song like that but I'm scared the new song will be dissapointing. I was excited for Falling In Love but when I heard the song, I was quite dissapointed.

Did Bom even sing life for Falling In Love? Her first part of each chorus she kept giving this overly expressive face (well for her facial abilities) to the crowd and then looks to mime the rest. Isn't she supposed to be like, the vocalist?

Bom is the best at variety shows,lol,I mean I really enjoy her as a person, maybe for now I like her the most of the girls
I do think that they lost the spark, I was afraid it was going to happen but never thought it'd be that soon

I think they do enjoy performing, yes, it's YG dirty games again I think
