Quite honestly, I'm surprised not many people are suggesting LOVE as a recommendation for a first time listener. That's when I really got into Mika and though I adore MUSIC, LOVE is just so cohesive and addictive. Its one of the albums you listen to from track one to end without skipping any songs I feel.

Oh, so they made an English version of Fighter? Where are you guys listening to it from? Even if you guys think its bad, I'm so very curious to hear it because of that. LOL.

I absolutely adore LOVE. I think it's tied with MUSIC as my favorite Mika album.

The Tachytelic World Cup Brazil 2014 remix has English vocals (that are completely painful to listen to, so you've been warned). Mika shared a clip on her weekly radio show, and there's a rip on Kumonoito's Facebook page.

I personally don't suggest LOVE as a first listen simply because it's not really what Mika does anymore overall. Idk, I find it more logical to suggest music that is closer to what Mika does nowadays in case that person wants to keep on listening whatever gets released next. If that person liked what he or she heard, then it makes sense that they would want to try out everything else.

Moreover, I find it quite hard to rank Mika's albums because of how different they are from one another. I can't simply give my favorite one as a suggestion coz it may vary depending on my moods and stuff ahah. One day my favorite could be LOVE, the next day it could very well be YES or STAR, or REAL and so on.. It's toooo hard. It's so odd that I can pick my favorite songs, but I can't pick an album lol

Thank you! Its so festive sounding, I feel like the emotion from the original was destroyed in this Latin (or Brazilian?) flavored remix. I don't know how else to describe the sound. Miliyah's voice sounds the same, but Mika sounds so awful singing in English; too robotic in how she pronounces the words and she sounds off key a lot in the first half of the song. She doesn't even sound like her self. :X I will stick to the original.

The A-side is amazing and the B-side, "No Answer", ranks in my top 3 mika songs (it is my favorite mika song on some days, other days it fluctuates)

Nah, it's no so bad at all, they're just enjoying the song, though they could really have worked on a deeper concept for this video.
