I honestly dont think she can sing, If Jessica wasnt her sister, no one would give a rat's ass in teh first place.

No one starts off on top, unless they actually have connections (which she did) in ONE day she was all famous. Serves her right, if she cant sing naturally, then I could care less, anyone can lip-synch.

I hate Ashlee Simpson too. A cheap overnight popstar thanks to her sister.

I found the mistake funny. See, Ayu has good coverups. Sure, in that "Voyage" performance she screamed a little in panick, but the "la la la la la" made up for it, and she apologized right on stage....but Ashley just keeps staring at her band, doing weird ass hops and slinks off stage like a loser. It's better to admit to mistakes (humans all make them-it's natural) right there than to stop everything.

1. Why would she lip-synch to a "no dance" song in the first place?

2. Sure we can't blame her for the technical problem, but that doesn't mean she can blame her band. What a.....prick!

Now I won't shake my head when I watch BoA lip-synching to a dance song. At least she knows when to and when not to lip-synch.

but cmon guys, ayu's been singing forever, and she's always appearing here and there actually SINGING. you can't really compare the two.

It is expected for Britney to lip synch because she has heavily choreographed concerts. She is more of a performer than an actual singer. I think the fans should critisize her. If she had any talent or ability, she would be able to sing a song. All she does is stand and move a little, that doesn't effect vocals.

Ashlee at least owned up to what happened now. Turns out it's a medical problem (acid reflux, which I hear really hurts your throat). She sang live at the Radio Music Awards, if anyone caught that. Even if she wasn't a singer, she has dancing and acting to fall back on.

On another board two posters claimed to have acid reflux. They said it could be painful but as long as they took their medication they were just fine. If Ashlee really had a good reason for her behaviour she would have mentioned the acid reflux right away, instead of the classy 'blame the band' move that took place before Papa Simpson and the rest of her handlers decided on the proper spin for this.

I have no respect for Ashlee. Her career should go the way of Milli Vanilli.

Perhaps Britney will send her a thank you- card for making her look like a pro? At least Britney has the dancing as an excuse for lipsynching.
