Actually every year, the artists' earning through the public impression is based upon their income tax (hint hint!), so it's certainly no wonder why those paparazzis will tail on artists whenever they go and pay their taxes.

So if ayumi's on the highest income tax list, it's not a strange thing at all. Ever since her debut she has always been on the top 5 every year.

But if you are smart with the books, you can be earning the most but not be paying the most taxes. Remeber the big news that she drop out of no.1 last year? I was like come one! It only mean she hired some smart financial manager(s). It's a show of being smart.
