O there's kinki kids doing very well with Anniversary. Ayu's not bad too, at least it's still in top10. I mean with so many negative news [which i dunn believe], but i'm sure with the new single coming, she'll do better! I find it hard to believe Ken Hirai lost to ORANGE RANGE

i have to say... even with all these tabloids pushing against her, she's still the top dog in the industry.... she's very consistient with her music, with i think all of them going to number 1 at least in the first two weeks....

Ayu's doing well just by showing up in the top 10. I mean like, this is her seventh year since debut and how many Jpop queens in the past managed to survive this long.
and I can't believe no one mentioned Ketsumeishi's Sakura. It's a great song and it's the first single to break a million in ages. |

Personally, i feel that the charts aren't doing so well overall. Let's hope some big artist like Ken Hirai comes out with another "Hitomi wo tojite" and sells a million since Sakura is barely hitting the million mark.
But still, Ayu is doing extremely well for someone who's out for a while and it seems that 2005 will be her year once again unless Utada Hikaru pulls another FIRST LOVE on us, which is highly possible since i read something on the UTADA board about her returning back to Japan and is already working on a new single, which is rumored to be out this late summer or something. So, basically, i think Ken Hirai and Utada Hikaru can really change the shape of the sales. |
