Hitomi's Official Website has added this link: Library War. Looking at the music section, it reveals that Hitomi will be releasing a new single on June 4th! The single's title is "Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi" and it will be used as the opening theme song of the anime "Library War"!!!

Edit:

The opening of the anime will air on April 10th, so we've got about a month before we actually hear the song.

i cannot wait for the new single.

the single ver. is so calm and kinda plain... but after listening the Bamboo Collage ver.
I realized how good the song was, and now I like more the ballad version

I really liked her first album but I haven't fully listened to Bamboo Collage (frankly I was pretty dissapointed after like the first 5 songs ) I think I'll try again one of these days. I really dislike how a bunch of decent artists start of pretty good with their debuts but once their 2nd comes out n such it's so generic and bland. I guess it's hard coming across Shiina's and Ayu's these days, but even though you don't get artists as amazing as them, there are really good ones out ther with talent, and I'm pretty sure Hitomi here has got some.
