Lily Allen, anyone?

Anybody here listens to her? I absolutely love her music ever since I heard Smile two months ago. Then one thing led to another and now I have the album on my PC, can't wait to buy it! It's absolutely fantastic. When I read the rave reviews, it made me want the album more.

But even here, Allen keeps her revenge sweet — she sounds like she's singing about how ice cream or puppies or being in love makes her smile, which gives the song an extra sting.
My thoughts, written by Allmusic. Even the tracks that got criticized sounds wonderful.

Regal Zonophone

-The album title is taken from a lyric in the song "Knock 'Em Out".
-Contains the UK #1 single "Smile".
-This album was a MySpace featured album, which meant that fans could listen to it, before it was released
-The song "Alfie" is about her little brother Alfie Owen-Allen
-The track "Cheryl Tweedy" failed to make the album, although it was released in the special edition of "Smile"
-The week after its UK release, it was placed at #10 in the Starbucks Music chart in the US, despite few stores having it on import only.
-According to Los Angeles radio station KDLD, the album will hit U.S. stores in early 2007.
