well.. mine is kind of strange
1280x800  i have a widescreen laptop. so... and my internet connection is a 200kb/s down, and 30kb/s up. in short: weird internet, weird resolution (but way cooler than a 4:3 screen)

1024x786, I didn't know you could get bigger than that, and I have cable.
When I use my brother's computer, which has an 800x600 monitor and uses a slow DSL connection it does take awhile for things to load.
