I heard that was actually a song about her mom. Ayu doesn't really have any fond, detailed memories of her dad last I checked. You might be right, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

^ I always got the impression it was about her dad, I know she got raised by her grandmother and such, but last I heard shes still in much in contact with her mum. And we know her dad did leave her, so I thought that was probably the one of the last memories she had of him =\ omg i am getting so confused..

The first song which comes up to my mind is 'M'. Well maybe not the Orginial Mix, maybe the one from 'ayu-mi-x IV +selection Acoustic Orchestra Version'.
But 'Dearest' is a really good choice.

What's funny is that Close to you has pretty much the same lyrics as Together When..., only Cty is obviously speaking in the present tense / happier and TW... is looking back on what was lost.

Cty, however, is still a really good choice. I highly suggest 'Dearest,' too, but since you said his heart was set on Cty then I guess all I can say is I hope you guys have fun at the wedding!


(Personally, I want to get married to JEWEL - those final lines are just gorgeous~)
