ayu's voice is changing in this 10 years?

Her voice has definitely changed with time, but I like it no matter the era it's from. Listening to ASfXX I don't really become annoyed with her screeches. Now her voice is much more mature and I still like it. The only thing I'm really worried about is how she'll sound in another, maybe, 20 years. In 10 more she'll probably still sound fine (Gwen Stefani is almost 40 and still sounds great), but when she's 50 she'll have that old woman singing voice that you hear from people like Wada Akiko. That's what I'm scared of hearing :\

She definately changed her vocals since the "I am..." era.
In her ASfXX days, she has this highly pitched vocals which I felt annoyed especially from her debut single "poker face c/w FRIEND".
I think in my case, some of her old songs before are hard to sing due to high notes which I can't hit.

Nowadays, her voice are now much refined than ever but I miss her "MY STORY" and "(miss)understood" vocal styles.

also remember that in the beginning, in ASFXX, she didn't have her two back up singers.
I don't know if I like them or not, because sometimes they become so overpowering, it's hard to tell where the main melody, and Ayumi's voice, begins, and their melody ends.

if you listen to 1 LOVE, during the Chorus, and then at the end of it, when its just her singing, her voice sounds much higher without the two back up singer ,I think.. it's that reason why we have such perception, because those two back up singer could give the bass and the deep to a high voice.

I like her voie all the time now and before, but i like her voice now and when she sang because of you and the second version of a song for xx
