I MISS AYU SO MUCH!!!

people need to realise that ayu has been touring from the beginning of april onwards till end of june. I want to see you touring three months and putting out new material/managing promotional efforts like tv appearances at the same time.

it's pretty good that girl takes a break. she needs some time to rest and maybe come up with some new ideas for her music. we already got a single this year, technically two remix albums and a brand new album.

for other artists I have to wait three years in order for them to release something. and an ayu-break is also an opportunity to listen to other artists more often - the musical world is big and full of interesting stuff. ayu has had her annual new year hype from my side and I'm happy I can take a rest from her till she's releasing her next single in appropriate time.

While I agree with you wholeheartedly, Ayu hasn't done many tv-appearances (she's done several, yes, but not a considerable amount compared to her previous years I think?) but again that's understandable because planning this tour took a lot of time, especially since it seems like one of her most elaborate yet.

Aisha: True XD But what Hikki gives is normally so good it holds me over 'til we see her again - I'd say at least we don't have to wait an exorbitant amount of time like OLIVIA fans.

I MISS AYU TOO. I hadn't been listening to her songs as much as before. If she's gonna release a new single or album I will keep listening to it. Ayu!!

I agree <_<. With the amount of material Ayu has released, it takes some bands/singers upwards of 15-20 years.

i really dont feel ayu is taking a "break".. shes doing all those tours...
althought i agree a break would be good, but this is her 10th anniversary, and i think i remember her saying that it was going to be a great and exciting year.... mirrorcle world cant really be considered a new song, its a long version of an interlude from her 2007 album...and she normally has a summer single.. its almost mid july and no signs of a new single (so that means there wont be one in august, so no summer single at all) , its really about time shes released something.. i keep looking on the news section, and its mostly just photos and blogs that are coming up... whats goin on!?
on a side note, im finally glad namie is getting more spotlight, she really deserves it and ive alwas loved her as much as ayumi,

I kind of miss Ayu's appearance on magazines and tv shows. I mean, I know that overexposure isn't a good thing but...It isn't wrong to miss seeing her face on certain magazines every once in a while, or look forward to a new performance or two this week. And yet at the same time, we can't be selfish about Ayu...She's human just like us and well, she can't be everywhere and do everything at one time.

She's getting older...she's getting wiser...and her priorities have changed now. So I guess we should just be happy with what we've got, and be fortunate that she isn't like Hikki & Mika---they just disappear and reappear whenever they want to.

I miss Ayu too But aside from not being in the publics eye, she's been on tour, so she's been pretty busy right? And next is the Asia Tour 08, so less Ayu as well. There's been many mssgs from ayu this year, so at least we know she is well and her spirits are up

I noticed lately not just this year, but since last year we've only been getting 2 singles a year? then the album? From the top of my head I'm thinking Startin & Blue Bird and then there was Glitter & Talkin 2 myself . . So this year we have Mirrorcle World and probably one more single. I remember (miss)understood had the usual 4 singles before the album I'm not complaining Ayu's been busy as said for the last 10 years, It would be nice for the slower pace release. For ayu especially, she needs rest. She works so hard.

I think I prefer her to release singles at a slower pace because it would bother me that she'd release a bunch of singles that would subsequently be on the album... so there'd only be like, 4 new songs :\ Maybe I'm just confusing it with my western perception of singles, because here in the States (as I'm sure you know lol) singles are used as totally different things (mostly post-album releases for the radio) than in Japan, which seem to be used to show that the artist is still productive and to garner interest for their upcoming work.

Ayu is more than likely working on the rest of her songs/preparing for releases/contract stuff etc. Or she could be having a little break, which I think is well deserved considering what she's been going through recently.

I also think that Ayu doesn't exactly want to compete with Namie Amuro and Koda Kumi's releases. I think it's good that they're getting some light over Ayu (at the moment).

it's even more depressing if u're..no updates at all currently except d filial son newspaper
cuttings n etc..not even a sign of album this yr..Zzz (so it's much worse than being ayu fan)
