Ayu & Hikki for me. Yuna Ito, Kuu and Namie also make good songs, but a lot of them I really don't care for.

Ayu for me. I don't like most of her 1st album, but I KNOW if I understood the lyrics, I wouldn't care. Why else would the Japanese buy the album anyway?

Also, you didn't include Angela Aki. Everything she makes is gold to me.
