I was just reading some other ppl's posts, and I was thinking, "wait, you mean there are other interpretations of this PV other than that Shu-ya was cheating on Ayu?".

I don't understand the lyrics, and I haven't bothered looking them up, so just by interpreting the footage, I deduced that she was in love with him from before the point the vid starts. Its that kind of high-school lover thing where she gets excited every time she sees him. If you notice, the excitement isn't very mutual, which suggests that Shu-ya is already cheating on Ayu. So then Ayu picks up the ring and she likes it. So any good boyfreind would buy the ring, right? But Shu-ya doesn't. This also suggests that he's not really into Ayu. She probably passes it off as nothing, because she's blinded by love. And then she goes to a rehearsal and she's like "I'm so madly in love, he's so hot, blah, blah, blah...". And the next day she goes out to see him, like she probably always does. And she was getting ready to ride Shu-ya's motorcycle again, but then he hands the helmet to the mystery woman behind the wall. And when she sees this, its like instant heartbreak. And to make her feel worse, she's wearing the ring Shu-ya didn't buy for her. This also suggests that Shu-ya's been cheating for a while. He probably didn't buy the ring for Ayu because he already had plans to buy it for the mystery woman. But in the end, Ayu's freinds are there to cheer her up. So its like, one of those kinda things like 'even through all the hard breakups, your freinds are always there for you'.

And notice how he dosen't even show regret or remorse. What a jerk!

Am I the only person who interpreted it like this the first time they saw it? I thought it was kinda obvious. Apparently not...

^ He wasn't exactly cheating on her. I mean, there's nothing wrong in thinking like that, but I really don't think that's what the video is trying to show.

More like a girl has a crush on a boy and everyone seems to know about it... and the boy is too nice to reject her so they're just friends, and maybe the girl is okay with things like they are at that point... just being friends and all that.

But when she realized the boy has a girlfriend... of course it would hurt, but she should have expected this, no?

Haha, I just don't get that vibe that Shu-ya is cheating on her or whatever... the song and video are too sweet for something like this.

^ I see where you're coming from. I kinda like that interpretation better. I was just watching the vid, 'cuz I didn't bother to look up the lyrics. I didn't take the PV and the music into consideration at the same time. Maybe its just the way I think, that I assumed that he was cheating. I over analyze things a lot.
