I wouldn't mind seeing them go, but P&P worked well as a team with Ayu and developed a strong relationship, which is arguably more important than their singing abilities/voices. Also, P&P are not trying to take Ayu's spotlight, Ayu's wants them and the rest of the crew to have their spotlight as well.
I also wouldn't mind seeing to dancers go too. I'm not impress by them and their dancing are not very well syncronized with the music (they could use the same moves with different songs), but there are exceptions. As for the band members, yeah they can go too. It's not hard to find talented musicians, there are many of them lying around somewhere. I also wouldn't mind seeing Ayu go too. There are plenty of other better singers. In fact, change everyone, even the audience, there are better audiences out there. Avex should be taken over as well. Spoiler:

 she didn't hire them as friends. they were probablly hired by Avex in the first place, but since they've worked togather for such a long time, they created a bond.

Ayu's vocals/talents are not that much better than P&P's. Let's face it, everyone's perception about them will be different if Ayu were ugly fat and P&P were super sexy hot. I never heard anyone say Ayu's popularity was due to her singing ability. But rather her cute looks, fashion trends, unique style of lyrics, and her friendly personality (plus fancy concerts and simple marketing).
Their singing abilities/voices are subjective, but how strong their teamwork counts for much more objectively. It's fine if you hate Peco's vocals (I don't like them myself and wouldn't mind a replacement), but you can't (or should not) hate how much Peco helped Ayu. If I were Ayu, I'd probably feel the same as her and would care less if they looked like "ugly, fat mummies that 'sing like a cat' that I kicked last night". For me, it's a yes. I really hate them when their voice are ouder than Ayu at several time. It's so horrible. It's a "yuks!" for me hearing the voice.
But, Peco and Princess now are really popular among Ayu's fans.

if it werent cause i like ayu alot, those 2 would be more than enough reason to stop listening to her. and believe or not that would also be more than enough reason for younger audience to never really pay attention to ayu.. its like seeing your mom trying to sing on stage with ayu > <
cause of them i never enjoy ayu concert to the fullest, i need to drop songs where they kill them. now with the new album "next level" she should change them and also most of her dancer ^^, that would be so refreshing ^^. what ever happen to ayu, b4 she would change often her look and everything else, the past few years it seems the same to me T__T.. i try to understand as a fan but i often get pissed at this T___T

Well...we should probably give Peco more credit for her clothes. She's calmed down relatively well since the unforgettable 04-05 season...(If I'm not mistaken, this was the year she wore the tacky hair extensions and and the tight leather-spandex miniskirted corset and leggings...Whatever year that was, I'm GLAD she stopped wearing stuff like that!)
