I would pick alan over Gaga. Definitely!
I think this depends on one's taste of music. alan gives me the calm feeling. I often think that she is like a breath of fresh air among the artist with artificial materials I currently listen to, and I include Gaga into this group. I really love how haunting alan's voice can be at times. Although I love her epic ballads, I have to agree that some of her song are really boring.
