So a new JE group is debuting...


I guess we can discuss them here for now? (the sempai thread needs more traffic anyway ) They are performing on the upcoming Music Station. I've never even heard of this group until now, aren't JE groups usually more hyped right when they are about to debut?

OH GOD. i feel so bad for the older Juniors, i.e. Kis-My-Ft II, ABC, BAD, & my personal favorite FiVe. older Juniors are more fieeeeerce than these kids.

wait, why is Hey! Say! JUMP affected? there's just a new group. it's not like KT got affected when Hey! Say! debuted. but i suppose that all the focus will be on this group now (ie. attention shift)

Johnny's getting old though. Johnny is my favorite Johnny, NGL. he makes the funniest jokes. whenever Kame's not around, Johnny makes himself the "K" and the group becomes JAT-TUN. LOL.

^ I'm afraid that when Johnny dies the company will seriously start to decline. Debuting groups this young is a bad idea imo...like when H!P started to concentrate on the young kids that is when everyone stopped caring about them. It's great that JE takes time with training their idols and they don't officially debut them until later, even though in some cases it doesn't work (Tackey debuted WAYYY too late imo) but every plan has it's flaws and every other JE group has been very successful. Then again JE is much smarter than H!P so I'm sure they will not make the same mistakes or at least I hope they won't. It would be a shame if JE is polluted with useless groups like C-ute, Berryz Kobo, Guardians 4... NOT COOL

tbh, i'm already thinking that JE's going into decline with the newer groups (that....aren't KT/K8). @_@~

because, to my knowledge, Julie Kitagawa was the force behind the formation of NEWS, Hey! Say! JUMP....and this groups looks like her work too. i think she overlooks Arashi currently also. while Johnny puts his time into the sempais/K8/KT.

i can really see the difference between her line of work & Johnny. like...no offense, but all the newer debut groups have been generic (with terms of image & music). and you don't see very good group interaction between the members (ie. NEWS & H!S!J has like....too many members to really see that.) and what's up with new kids going into debut without undergoing the infamous embarassment that is the Johnny's Junior era? it's a great offense to the Juniors who've been in it for years. the reasons why i like the sempais/KT/K8 is because they have that sense of flair/style/AWESOMENESS versus the newer ones.

OH I AGREE. TACKEY SHOULD'VE DEBUT A LONG TIME AGO. tbh, after KinKi Kids, it should've been Takizawa Hideaki/Imai Tsubasa/T&T. AND THEN Arashi. Arashi fits in more with the current generation than the "sempai" generation if you know what i mean. i forget Arashi's sempai status already. LOL.

but yeah....we'll see how this group will go. heck, i might even like their song. LOL. but idk...gotta feeling these kids aren't my type. :3 and that name....WOW.

KinKi Kids...KAT-TUN...are much better names, imo. LMAO.

The reason why I brought HSJ's name in the pic Eirynne is because they haven't released a debut album & they debuted since '07 so it's a bit worrying on how their fate's like at the moment

Confirmation from Tokyograph that they'll release their debut single on July 15. And info on Yuma's drama. Should we be talking about them here though? Obviously they aren't sempai's.

Early last month, it was announced that Kansai Johnny's Jr. member Yuma Nakayama (15) is starring in a new drama series on Fuji TV. Details about the story have now been revealed.

The drama is titled "Koishite Akuma ~ Vampire Boy." Nakayama stars as a young vampire named Ruka who has entered the human world. Although he hates humans, he begins attending high school and falls for his homeroom teacher, played by Rosa Kato (23). Masahiko Kondo (44) has been cast as another vampire, who serves as Ruka's "chaperone." Johnny's Jr. member Shintaro Morimoto (11) will also appear in the series.

Nakayama will also be singing the theme song as part of a new Johnny's group, called "Yuma Nakayama with B.I.Shadow." The five members have an average age of 14.4 years old, surpassing Hey! Say! JUMP as the youngest Johnny's group at the time of their major label debut.

B.I.Shadow is a Johnny's Jr. unit that formed last year. Their members are Kento Nakajima (15), Fuma Kikuchi (14), Hokuto Matsumura (13), and Yugo Kochi (15). Together with Nakayama, they will release the single "Akuma na Koi" on July 15.

The "Koishite Akuma" drama series will air on Tuesdays at 10:00pm, beginning on July 7.

we've decided during the least thread that it was A-OK to talk about Juniors here. i think since all the other groups have specific threads, we could just lump all the other JE units here. besides, no one visits the sempai thread anyway.

UMMMM. the new group kinda sounds like.......NEWS/Hey!Say!JUMP. .__.;; i don't see how this song is any different sounding from like NEWS Nippon/Ultra Music Power. well, the first part of the song, anyway. haha. THE SECOND PART OF SONG SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER SONG THOUGH. ah! KinKi Kids' "Hakka Candy"....yeah? xD

LOL DID I SEE TANAKA JURI THERE SOMEWHERE? awww, so cute. looks nothing like his brother Tanaka Koki when he was a Junior. but still cute!
