Memorial address was the song that actually confirmed my existence as an Ayu-fan. Before that I was just browsing, but when I stumbled upon the live, whoa. I checked up the lyrics, and it was just so good. I love the music too, how it began with the piano, then the smooth transition into rock and back to ballady feel, it pretty much combines my love for ballads and rock music. No other rock ballads of hers had this much of an effect on me.

I actually really like both Moments and Memorial address... maybe it's the 'Ayu' factor, even for her newer songs I still like them, but well the songs in NEXT LEVEL except Days don't really reach me all the way... like I can't listen to identity or NEXT LEVEL for 1000 times, but I can with Moments and Memorial address.

In any case, Ayu's songs have always been of above-average quality, so... ^^

Moments is a great song, really. I just thoroughly enjoy it. Memorial address is such a strong, emotion filled song and that's why I love it. You can feel her emotions.

People like Memorial address because it's her most emotional, personal, and beautiful song since A Song for xx and teddy bear. The passion and beauty of it come from it's beautiful imperfections. It's not her best vocal performance, you can tell she's upset singing it. It's tragic, it's painful, it hits right in the center of your being, if you're a normal human being. The music depicts grief so wonderfully, a distant shock as it opens, snapping into being angry that the person is gone, and then leaving us with only soul crushing depression.

The song is the closest thing to a perfect studio recording she's ever had. In my opinion it is THE performance of her career. If she's not remembered for anything, it should be the beauty and vulnerability she was able to pour into this song. It's one of the few recordings that we truly hear "Ayumi Hamasaki," the person behind the mask of fame.

As for Moments, well, it's just kinda pretty, and has incredibly relate-able lyrics :3

Spot on with that Memorial Address explanation.

That's the first song I try to get people to listen to. Based on those reasons you stated.

Moments for me is a great follow-up to Memorial Address. It has a rhythmic quality to it much like a lullaby, which I really like. The lyrics are also really lovely. Before I prefered the acoustic version, but now I prefer the original version.

Memorial Address is without doubt one of her best songs. The emotion and meaning behind the song makes it. Plus, the arrangement is fantastic. It starts slow and sad, builds up and up to this angsty rock song and ends with that last piano secton. Perfect. And like the previous poster said, it has such a catchy bass line.

Moments is one of the first Ayu songs I heard, so I loved it.

I really like Moments... but. Memorial Address is just OK. I don't really listen to it often.
But.. Memorial Address has really greate lyrics. But.. hmm... the song isn't the best.. for me.
By the way.. I also really like Next Level. And I totaly like Days... it is such a nice ballad.
But for me..I can't understand why so much people likes "Love 'n' Hate". I totaly can't stand that song.. and never listen to it.
