The most she's ever sold was one of her NANA singles and that sold 50K and of course even a lot of popular singers are selling around that much now, but 5 years ago 50K was barely anything. And her last mini album charted at what, #78? It'll be AWESOME if this Best does well but...

I want to be positive but you know, being realistic is more beneficial. No set up for disappointment.

I just preordered the album on YA, I will change it if I don't like the cover, but I really want the CD+DVD. Think they'll jack up the prices about 5-10% at least once before it's released?

I think that will happen if they include a 1st press bonus item in it

I'm not sure if avex Taiwan is going to make a Taiwan press for Best of OLIVIA though

I hope so as they did that for Sailing free , Trinka Trinka , The Cloudy Dreamer , Wish/Starless Night , a little pain ; all in CD + DVD's editions

I'm sure it'll chart in the Top 50 at least? xD avex just has to promote it right. At least she's not like sifow and not charting at all (which really does take talent to not chart at all).

I don't think so, OLIVIA doesn't like being in TV shows very much

^ I highly doubt it. They aren't going to pour money into promotion for an artist that they are dropping because they don't think she can sell enough.
This album is likely being released as a contractual obligation prior to being able to drop her from the talent agency and/or label.

Avex might (most likely) drop her, after seeing how this new compilation album charts. I don't think that without promotion it will reach any higher than 50~10. And that may just be wishful thinking.

But I am absolutely positive that she will be signed under an Indie label, maybe after a little break, but she will continue maing music. She has to. She's my favorite japanese musician...

too bad it's not likely that OLIVIA will be promoting her best album on TV shows as like what has been said , she doesn't like to get her material out on TV which's unfortunate

I hope after the release of her best album , she will still continue to make music

come on ZAIN RECORDS , go & pick her up now 8D . You're really good at marketing your artistes like seriously , way better than what avex's capable of ~_~
