Well, it seems like the guy on the motorcycle had already been hit by a hit and run, and then the taxi driver stopped in the middle of the road to check on him and that's when Daesung rear ended the taxi driver. It doesn't seem like it was Daesung's fault. I just hope that person is okay right now in the hospital

Yesterday the young star appeared at the funeral to pay respect and sincerely apologised to every single member of the victim's family. Along with him include, the president of YG entertainment, his attorney and other representatives of the agency. Some family members still had some tension against him and confronted him angrily but, Daesung was seen keeping his head down and speechless. He's still frightened and shocked over the whole ordeal. Therefore, a representative apologised on behalf of him. Some said that it is wrong that he took four days to apologise! However, on Daesung's side of the story the reason why the apology came later because he wants to personally apologise properly and with the high profile case going on in public, it made it difficult for him to appear in public. He was already in such a bad condition and kept blaming himself.

Another family member of the victim truly felt pitiful against Daesung because he's still young and it wasn't entirely his fault but because of his celebrity status, the media made it such a big deal hence, reflected him emotionally. The family members were angry at him at first but seeing him in person being positioned as a "criminal" and undergoing a hard time at such a young age, they decided to forgive him. According to the victim's family, they want to know the truth of the accident after investigations have finalized as it is what is most important to them right now instead, of blaming Daesung without confirmation of evidence.

For now, Daesung's representatives have agreed to bear costs of the funeral proceedings as well as other rearrangements yet to be made after the case is close.

I read about all this on allkpop and feel so bad for him. First it looked like drunk driving but now it seems to just be he was speeding and didn't see the motorcyclist on the ground?
