But anyway, yeah she's not anorexic thin, she's mostly muscle. She works out everyday, has dance routines, and has to keep fit anyway so she can sing at full capacity. It's part of being a singer, and also part of being a pin-up celebrity.

I don't understand the evolution/Boys & Girls hate at all. They're fan favorities. Of course she sings those because she knows Japan loves them. And I love both songs too.

And about Ayu being a bit thin, well... I'm not sure. In some pics she looks like she's a bit too thin (but I can blame it on photoshop) but most of the time she's pretty normal looking girl.

I didn't get it until I actually went to one of her concerts. Maybe I'd get sick of it if I went to her shows annually, but it was really exciting (validating?) to finally be there for a set I'd seen a million variations of on DVD. There were a lot of little things I rolled my eyes at on the DVDs that suddenly made sense in the arena. The overly-cute set was not one of those things, however.

why can someone hate that Ayu has many sad songs? I love them. Moreover, just look at ourselves, people often write diary when they are in bad mood more than when they are in good mood. That's why when we look at our diary, it may be full of sadness. And I think it's the same for Ayu. She expresses her feelings in her songs. No one can live without sadness. Most of her songs being sad doesnt mean that her life's dark or something like that. Everyone has their own wounds. That's why I love Ayu.

I dont hate Boy&Girls, evolution but I also dont really like her performing them too much over and over again. She has lots of other upbeat songs that sound good but she seems to forget about..Wanna hear Replace again

I agree. Those depressing songs are among my all-time favorites and I feel they are more meaningful and beautiful than her happier songs. I believe they give us a deeper insight to her as a person, and I appreciate her sharing those feelings with us.

I think it's really depending on the moment when you discover an Ayu song. For example I found out about "powder snow" when I was bored and sad one day, and it hooked up on me like no other song did (my first ayu song btw), and now I dislike it so much, because I haven't been that sad since then.

I LOVE Ayu's ballads/sad songs/depressing songs/whatever you call them. If I look at the songs I listen to regularly it's almost ONLY those kind of songs from Ayu! I also love reading along the english lyrics!

I don't really care for Ayu's husband and I don't mean that in a spiteful way. I find his existance in Ayu's life to be quite funny actually. He kinda just appeared and now he's just... there.

If he started showing up in all of her music videos like all her dancers do then I would start having problems.

^ I don't get that either. She always uses Shu-ya etc. Why does it matter if he dances or acts in future PV's? Why the **** does it matter? We're fans of Ayu, not haters of Mannie. I think as long as she is in it and it's a good song, a good PV, we should be happy. I think people really do forget that we're not here to judge, just to enjoy her work. I can imagine him appearing in another PV and half the people here saying it's sweet, the other half saying he's so annoying...he's just another actor. People need to just get over the fact they married.

- fish lips
- her too sexy image (imo) look in magazines (ex. Naked Talk), live performances (ex. decision AT08) and music videos (ex. Sparkle). She's got some talent she can sell herself with, she doesn't need to show her body that much. It's for amateurs.

Honestly, have no more. I may not agree with some of her comments and ideas, but who cares? Ayu is Ayu and that's why I adore her ^^
