OMG!!! We could be waiting til like October then!!!!
They haven't officially announced a change in the album release date but they did say that they were following the release style of their 2nd mini-album which would mean that they were going to release an album after all the singles were out. And depending on how many songs that they plan to release, it could very well be pushed back that far. That's why the tour setlist they've released thus far contains practically the same songs that have already been performed on their last tour besides this new song. I'm sure the news songs are going to be added once they are released but I really think they should have gone on this tour after the album was released in order to have a setlist that had more newer songs than old ones.

I agree. Just if it's a mini it'll be like October. If it's a full album we could be waiting til like mid Spring next year. -_-

Over all, I've been wanting a full album for a long while now, but I don't wanna wait that long. Also, they talked about making a US debut in 2012 this year, but I'm guessing it'll be pushed back with everything else that's going on.

Btw, I haven't seen the set list yet. Where can I find it?

The news was released on YGLADIES regarding the setlist and according to CL, it's basically going to be the same as last years. The official setlist isn't out (I'm sorry, I had it mistaken as the new setlist but they just reposted last year's setlist):

Quote:
“We held our concerts last year and since then we’ve only released one new song, ‘I LOVE YOU.’ Since the setlist is going to be pretty much the same as last year, we’re doing some remix for all songs except our latest love tune,” CL said.
I'm happy the songs are getting remixes but I stil would have preffered that this tour happened after the album. Hopefully they'll stick to recording the final tour date for a DVD and the setlist will include more newer songs by the final leg.

I'd prefer a more louder part of the song and no more than 30 seconds long. I just need it loud enough that i can still hear it in places like a busy mall or over loud traffic. Oh and it needs to be an mp4 for my phone to let me set it as a ringtune. Thanks SO Much!! ^^

oh I'll see if I can make it mp4, gotta check it out, because I always just make it mp3 also, precise timing would be good like 1:00 - 1:30

I think the MV is pretty nice! CL and Minzy are totally rocking it (LOVING Minzy's hair! ) and Dara looks gorgeous as always. I'm actually liking her hairstyles as well.

I just have to say that as much as I love Bom, her parts bore me to death. :/

The MV made me like the song more, too

In the interview, CL specifically targeted her comment towards US and Japanese singers which seems quite unwise as these are the markets that they want to sell their music in. Even if she felt this way, I personally don't think that this should have been stated in an interview as they have worked with US and Japanese artists. Just because US and Japanese artists have a different work ethic than Korean artists doesn't make them any less passionate about their music. To be quite honest, people could also feel the same about Korean artists as they tend to have less control over their image and music (most of them don't write their own music and the companies they work for tend to determine their image) but even then, that wouldn't make them as a whole less passionate as the amount of passion a person has towards something is more of an individual thing than something that could be summarized about a whole country. Overall, the comment comes across as a bit snooty and insulting.

Agreeing with you here completely. She's been working with Will.i.am and they did that song with m-flo to just name a couple. She's being very insulting to these people who are trying to be friendly and work with them. Even will.i.am has been working on helping them prepare to debut in Europe & America. Also, he's not a singer, but Jeremy Scott loves them and is doing a lot for them all as well.

Btw, where is this interview? I cant find it.

Heres the link to the interview:

http://ygladies.com/news/2ne1/120707...orld-tour-2ne1

It's the answer to the question "Why do you think foreigners like 2NE1 & Kpop?". To be honest, I find it to be quite strange that she feels that this is the biggest reason why people like 2NE1 and Kpop (since she chose to emphasize on that point). I think most foreign kpop fans would just say that they like the way the music sounds as their top reason moreso than the artists are passionate.

For anyone who doesn't want to read the full interview:
Quote:
Why do you think foreigners like 2NE1 & Kpop?

“The passion for music that Korea has cannot be easily found anywhere else. As compared to singers in Japan and USA, our (Korean) singers are more passionate. 2NE1 has been mixing eastern and western genres of music. The trot melody (that I Love You has) is one of those efforts.” (CL)
I find it just a comment showing pride for Korea, rather than her distaste for Japan or the US. It's not the most politically-correct thing to say, but she said her opinion honestly and I don't think she was really meaning it to insult.
