I agree. I was expecting something more like BLUE BIRD's cover. I guess she's done trying to be creative and is just going to settle with this kind of photography. I wasn't going to get this (re)release anyway, but it's a shame the covers came out like...this.

The DVD includes video clips from 10 years of a-nation lives, from 2002 to 2011, some past summer PVs, the PV for new song You & Me, which was filmed overseas, as well as “Greatful days” performed by RAINBOW HOUSE. The extremely rare collection adds up to a total of 25 tracks. (planned)

The awkward moment when you actually prefer the S/S covers to the A SUMMER BEST covers...
But no joke, I think the 2CD is possibly the most terrible cover in her discography. It really does take the Photoshop cake; at least Ayu looks reminiscent of Ayu in the S/S covers, she looks almost unidentifiable in the A SUMMER BEST 2CD. Saying that though, I think the 2CD + DVD looks decent.

my classmate has just arrived to Tokyo. and she sent me an instagram of ayu's LANDS of Eden ad (made on metro station I guess). this immediately made me think that actually ayu's still there around. she's not forgotten and you can find her ad even now, after 11 years of "the face on every billboard". and I'm so glad about it.

she's obviously aiming on gyaru girls. that's why we had this tanned ayu wearing contact lenses.......

what I want to say is that I'm quite worried about sales and charts and so, I hope this won't flop and end up selling 150k only

Ayu has overgrown all these gyaru girls, like the past 6 years. don't remember any gyaru aged more than 25. it's a bit ridiculous to be aming at them, I think

There pretty much Gyarus over 25.
Ageha e.g. just made a (sub)magazine for 25+ ones.
Lots of onee and ora ora and other forms are generally older.

Though I agree Ayu definitely don't aim at them as her fan base is much wider than that.

ageha looks a waaaaaaaaaaay different, it's hime, so by her looks she's definately not aiming at them.

many gyaru graduate at 25 or even earlier. although she might be aiming at onee
