I sort of agree...I don't like when she uses English because of her heavy accent...like in You & Me or hbya. Definitely prefer her all japanese songs.

Her english/engrish seems different lately, actually harder to understand than in the past sometimes. I don't get it...shouldn't it be the opposite? XD

I find it quite interesting how much English is in Japanese popular music. When I think about it, you don't see English-speaking singer using other languages in their songs, save for maybe a Spanish word or two. I guess in general, Japan's fascination with English fascinates me, lol.

^it's just widespread lol it's cool though imo.

And here in America, a lot people take Spanish in school or are exposed to it, so that also makes sense. Same for French which would be more up my ally lol.

i dont really have a problem with that.. as long as its English without grammatical errors and it sounds like English (not Engrish), i am fine.

perhaps its Timmy who influenced ayu to use English!

^timmy has nothing to do with that, she always tried to speak in English with her bodyguard.

She tries to sound cute which makes her English sound horrible.
She speaks good English to me when she speaks it normally.

well I don't reallly mind because english in asians songs (based on Jpop and Kpop) is really overused... but since those 3 languages are not my mother tongue it doesn't bother me (but when somebody realeases something in my language and add english in it I can't listen to it and it seems stupid to me)...

But her heavy accent... I can't... even if Do it Again is one of my favorite sound of her... I made a lot of effort to understand that "dash" was actually "dance"... And I don't speak about You & Me... IMO She should work her prononciation/enonciation but at the same time this make her song cuter !!!
