maybe they're for soundtracks? i don't know much about the chinese music industry, so i'm not sure if they release singles as rabidly as the japanese music scene does, or if it's more common for them to release sort of "one shot" songs for radio or promotion.

At first, honestly, I was afraid of her career in China turning out to be a mess and weak compared to her Japanese career, but it turned to me as strong as the Japanese, even if it's a bit messy I will not feel sad if she never goes back to Japan as long as she keeps on the good trial she is now in

Many of her chinese songs are generic, and the music videos are a mess, and she doesn't release music often anymore. IMO
It's sad T_T. But there are some exceptions like the beautiful 以爱相宜

I like to see it as alan being happier -- she's closer to friends and family (who are really important to her). She gets to work in her native language (which puts her back into another comfort zone). She might have taken a step out of the Japanese music industry and sort of gone from one complication to another (her career in China has been really weird so far [just ask pommy about her label XD]), but ultimately if it's something that will make alan happy, then I'm happy

And if she's doing it for a show, probably she'll release those songs somewhere, cuz It doesn't make sense to record song just to sing "live" and not release them.

^ Actually alan has done that many times since her debut X_X
She usually just cover someone's song for a live performance and we never get it on CD~

Song is handled by avex. Contract is still there apparently.
