KAT-TUN's Comeback Single "Ask Yourself" Tops Oricon Chart

KAT-TUN's comeback single "Ask Yourself" has sold 138,000 copies in itself first week of sales, making it the best selling single in Japan this week, according to Oricon.

This is KAT-TUN's 27th consecutive #1 single. All of the group's single since its debut single "Real Face" have topped Oricon's weekly singles chart.

"I am very happy that we were able to reach first place with our first single since resuming activities. This is all thanks to the fans who support us. We will continue to do out best to deliver songs that will make everyone happy in the future," group member Ueda Tatsuya said.

KAT-TUN went on hiatus in May of 2016, characterising it as a recharging period. The group resumed its activities at the beginning of 2018.

Taguchi Junnosuke reveals he's in a long-term relationship

On April 28, former KAT-TUN member Taguchi Junnosuke made a guest appearance on 'Tokumori! Yoshimoto' where he revealed that he's in a long-term relationship.

This was Taguchi's first time appearing on a variety programmr after withdrawing from KAT-TUN. When asked about the rumour regarding his older girlfriend, he confessed, "I don't think it's something I should hide. Yes, I am." Then, the program's MC Imada Koji asked if things are going well to which he responded, "Yes."

Additionally, a reporter commented, "I've heard that you've been in a relationship for over 10 years," then asked, "Are you thinking about marriage?" Taguchi reacted to both statements with a smile.

KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya To Star In TV Tokyo Drama "Tegami"

KAT-TUN member Kamenashi Kazuya has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming TV Tokyo drama "Tegami".

The new drama is based off the 2003 book of the same name written by Higashino Keigo.

Kamenashi will play Takashima Naoki , a character whose brother is convicted murder. He and his family face discrimination due to their relation to the murderer.

Details about the series such as the rest of the cast and a release date were not immediately made available.
