But in Switzerland japanese artists in generally aren't that famous...
and Japanese music is still something special here -
you can't listen to japanese music over the radio or tv.
So I don't really have to fight for a positive image of Ayu.

HAHAHA! That's the same way it is here. People aren't open to accepting artists from other cultures, unless they add in the S.E.X. factor. (is BB Mac an exception?) No sex = no fame. I'm personally not too big of a fan of Britney nor Christina because they place more emphasis on sexuality rather than making "good" music, which relates to my posts in the Hikki vs. Ayu thread. But I like her Nasalic sound! IT's so pretty.. and on thing i have to point out.. even thoe ayumi is like the most fashionable dresser, she doesnt dress like christina agulara or britney.. which is good.. she doesnt try to show her boobs or wear a short skirt or watever.. but u knoe people jsut wanna see sluts like britny and christina..

actually, Ayu has done a pic where she was topless except for her hair covering her chest. She also did pics where she just has leaves covering her chest and bush. I think she's using sex appeal too. If Britney & Christina appear slutty, they must be doing something more than what Ayu has done.

That is a good way of saying it!!!!! Unlike Christina and Britney, Ayu isn't butt naked 24/7. Ayumi knows how to be sexy and show skin occaisonally, but she does not go overboard and show too much too frequently.
