It's not FAIRYLAND, it's "fairyland" LOL

what's so bad about the title? She has made covers like "forgiveness" before, the title isn't really a surprise at all. She has come with titles that are as worse to mention to other people before......just think of RAINBOW, which is the name of a whole album? and what about ANGEL'S SONG? there is just so much overreaction over a title imo. At least is not one more "something you"

Why do some people BASH the freakin' TITLE before not even hearing the song first? I don't think there are any samples of the song quite yet, but from all of the sources, the song will be a ballad.

There are A LOT of odd/worser song titles in Japan, but we haven't just heard of 'em. It may have a weird name like "Step You," but it was a freakin hit.

So please, STOP judging the song title before hearing the song. At least it isn't something like "Fairydust" or something

There's no contradiction in my sentence like you're trying to make it seem, you most probably just didn't get my point. When I said "at least it's not "something you" again", is because she has several titles that follows that pattern: "Because of you, Depend on you, About you, STEP you, Close to you". There are already enough of those titles.

fairyland, is kinda a different and new title (she does have WONDERLAND, ok), and though the title might not be the coolest thing ever, people are treating like "OMG I can't believe ayu made a title like that" (I'm guessing they think it sounds stupid?). Well she already has titles like RAINBOW, teddy bear, Greatful days, HONEY, Boys & Girls, FRIEND, FRIEND II, Dolls and ANGEL'S SONG (for me these titles are almost at the same level as fairyland [very girlish titles but hey ayu is a girl after all, maybe she loves being freaking "girlish" and "cute"] - and before you try to ironize, the titles aren't Greatfuland, RAINBOWLAND, ANGELAND [which is what I complained about the "you" titles], see the difference now? ). She also made covers with a fairy and PV with fairies as a theme (the time to complain about that is past over the forgiveness release, for now everyone should know ayu loves fairies and stuff, and shouldn't really get surprised by that). There's really no surprise at all to be making all this overreaction in my opinion.

I agree, some of the titles are ah, but it makes sense. I dont know, Teddy bear, and Greatful days arent that bad of titles. Friend isnt either, but HONEY seemed way to sappy. But then again we have to remember we speak english, and we're american, and the to other people the words arent as sappy/weird to them as it is to us...I kind of rambled...sorry =x

I'm loving the site layout, and I hope the single has that kind of feel to it. I wasn't impressed with the "alterna" preview, but I love the title. "FAIRYLAND" is kind of a weak title, but I hope the song is awesome. It sounds like it will be cheesy pop, but I'd really love it if this song with its uber-girly title turns out to be a kick-ass, aggressive rock song. Still, I doubt it - not only did we just get "is this LOVE?", but it just doesn't fit the season. Then again "CAROLS" was really awkward in this respect too. I don't know what to expect -- we'll just have to wait and see, yeah?

As far as this being the SHINOBI theme, I doubt it. Although the release date is surprisingly closer to the movie's release date than expected, I just don't see "FAIRYLAND" as a suitable title for the movie. The film is set long, long ago and sounds quite dramatic and cold. I mean... it's about enemy-ninjas who fall in love and are destined to kill eachother. We'll see though. Ayu's been strange lately with her titles...

Hmmm... To be really honest, i really love both of the songs title gonna be on this new single gonna be named as "FAIRYLAND" c/w "alterna" comin' out this summer!

"FAIRYLAND" this title kinda remind meh of "WONDERLAND" though which make meh really excited over it now because i jost love "WONDERLAND" so damn much. Jost everything 'bout "WONDERLAND" is amazin' ! Especially, those little kiddes gigglin' and the Muhahaha! Though i know i'm only the one of the few that love "WONDERLAND" ,but i dun't really give a damn on wot other gonna say 'bout it anyway! I really want Ayu to make more things like "WONDERLAND". Perhaps "FAIRYLAND" will be sumefin' like "WONDERLAND" ,but jost only nut instrumental.

Sumehow, there might be sume chances that Ayu won't be dofin' that because it's releasin' for the summer, but it seem like she's nut herself anymore too. So there might be sume chances that "FAIRYLAND" will be sumefin' like "WONDERLAND" from her darkside for the summer. Yay! OMG! I'm really lookin' for it now! I'll keep meh fingers cross that "alterna" gonna be the upbeat or rock song for the summer single. So i'll get wot i want!

Anyway, none of these songs in this single gonna release in the summer will be use for "SHINOBI" image song.

According to TeamAyu, the site will go through 2 more designs leading up to the release: again on the 24th, then on the 2nd of July to match with the singles theme.
