I like this PV better then the alterna PV as well.
The PV was pretty and I think it had a nice meaning! And she looked cute with the chameleon. It was a nice PV although I like the dancing. It looked like ayu worked her ass off from the vivi magezine to get the dancing right, and then you look at the PV and you don't see her dance that much. I think I like her danincg better in the live on music station and that they should have put that in the PV but It was a really beautiful PV. I enjoyed it and I think it had a POWERFUL meaning. ^_^ well that's my opinion. ^_^

INSPIRE PV (Dancing on the beach) + Madonna's "Like a Prayer" (dramatic and significant burning) + tATu's "Nas Ne Degoniat" (burning photos) + very typical american direction (film quality, peephole look with darkened screen corners which has always driven me nuts) = fairyland PV

I edited my post a bit after watching the PV again, this time with specifics.

EDIt: Okay, I am gonna qualify my reply. I didn't dislike the PV at all. I really didn't. Its "saying goodbye to the fun times of the past" message hits hard with me. The whole burning photos & burning cabin thing was just fantastic to me. One of my problems with the video is that its message is more obvious than alot of her other PVs. Imagery, not symbolism here. My biggest problem with it, really, was now uncreative the execution was. (See above list).

It was expensive because of all the scenery and stuff. Really, awesomely pretty. ugggh, the beach, the trees, the blue skies... the water, mmmmh +_+

See, this is what I like about Ayu. She has so many different material that she satisfies many fans in different ways!

I like Alterna and Fairyland PVs the same level, but on different scales, if that makes sense.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure Ayu had a GREAT time down there o_o" Isn't that what matters? Lol

i really like this PV...especially after readin' the lyrics too!

the PV was very refreshin' and i just wanted to be in hawaii with her, in that sense, this PV would make a very good tourist video. lol. but back to topic, um...i personally feel the PV shows how childhood is like summer/day; you enjoy everything that is good and all you want to do is to have fun. then your future is like the end of summer/nightfall; where everything is dark and unexpected, and you must go through it even if you want to run away *the dancers runnin' away from the fire, and ayu stayed* so yes, this PV was quite direct, and it's great eye candy if you just want to relax, it doesn't require much thinkin' and it just punches the song into your head. even though the message in this PV wasn't as bold as alterna, but i think both PV are good in both of its way. =)

do all of ayu's pvs have to have story lines? no. although i thought this one actually did fit with what the song had to say at the end. this was def much better than the INSPIRE pv. is she going to do this every year now? a pv set in an exotic setting and another rock one....although i cant complain, i really like both songs

i really enjoyed just watching the pv. at least it was less freaky than the alterna pv, which i have to watch again and read the lyrics to understand

Yeah, I agree with that. Uncreative execution, but a nice message. I still liked the PV, but I prefer "alterna", mainly because the song fits my musical taste better and I prefer PVs with symbolism that are unique.

Personally, I think this PV is not worth it's cost. Don't get me wrong, it's a great PV. Beautiful scenery. I like it. But it wasn't that much special for her most expensive PV. "alterna" was much much better. But I still like the PV. Better than some of her previous ones. And I'm really glad there isn't much dancing!

This PV had also a good message. The whole photo burning out effects really matching the lyrics and it was really well-done.

I don't get why people say the "burned out house" scene didn't match the song. Have you read the lyrics translations? The song isn't just cute and happy. Plus some people say her voice is really "cute" in this song. I don't think so. "HONEY" is cute. Her voice in "fairyland" is really mature.

It's all a matter of taste I suppose. Her voice is borderline "HONEY" in this song for me.

I find that her voice in "fairyland" is the same as "alterna", "STEP you" and "is this LOVE?".

hehe I agree with it sounding like "STEP you", but in "alterna" and "is this LOVE?", her voice sounds like it does in concerts sometimes- with a rocker edge .

Something I thought would've been cuter in the PV...if ayu actually did a hula dance!!! I was so sure she was gonna, after looking at one pic in the ViVi scans...ah well. I still loved her boppin' around on the beach.

the PV was pretty!! hehe made me feel pretty happy until teh house got burnt

i did expected more from Ayu's most expensive PV

but overall it was a nice PV, i'm glad the colours looks very fresh! it's nice!!

i liked how Ayu danced in this PV in the middle part

oh it's kinda a bad ending because he house got burnt down and Ayu's just standing there watching...

I agree, that would have been quite cute, but she didn't even danced much anyway for the PV. Which was cool, because Ayu + dancing = weird...

Anyone else thought that the part in the waterfall/petals didn't fit there? It would have made much more sense in the begginging of the PV. Otherwise, it's in the middle of the house burning. At least they wanted to make it as she remembers the good times, then the house burns and crash...

I felt the same way too! I guess maybe they wanted to make it stick out like that to make it more "special"...but I still think those scenes would've worked better in the beginning shots. GOSH she looked so gorgeous in the water!!
