No, the shipments units does not have anything to do with the number of items...the shipments units are related to the size and weight of the item/package of your order...

take this for example -> GUILTY poster

they are only sending you 1 poster..but it says "3 shipments units"...thats because the posters that they send are in those big tubes (or "a protective packaging with an extra thick cardboard tube" they say) they use this as a reference for the shipment fee....if you order something via express service, any shipment unit will increase the amount of the shipment fee.

the same happens here ->A BEST 2 -WHITE- (cd+2dvd)

it says "2 s.u." although the album is included in just 1 box....

If you saw that at cdjapan and in the cd+dvd versions, two shipping units is the cd and dvd. If you look at the cd only versions, there is only 1 shipping unit because there is only 1 cd in the case. If you look at talkin' 2 myself singles there, it states the same thing but there was no bonus included in the order.
