Sorry for the double post, but this thread DESERVES to be bumped. *coming from a near SCANDAL fanatic*

I've seen a few international SCANDAL forums - here and here and here - and I'm thinking it'd be cool to start an English-language forum. I have no idea where to start, and I'd need some help kicking it off, making a name for it, and helping run it - at least for the time being. I know this is a huge proposal here... But it'd be really awesome to do this, be the first U.S. SCANDAL forum (or at least, English-language ).


And dang it, if anything I'd love to find a way to get into that Hong Kong "sushi" forum. It looks so cool.

Double-post, but I am so upset right now. At myself and at SCANDAL. Why? The $50 CD+photobook limited edition BEST*SCANDAL I pre-ordered, well...let's just say the girls seem to be trying to satisfy their male fans' fantasies through the photobook:

10月21日にリリースされるSCANDALの1stアルバム「BEST★SCANDAL」。その完全生産 限定盤に、284ページにおよぶ豪華フォトブック「SCANDAL BY SCANDAL」が同梱されることが明らかになった。

フォトブック「SCANDAL BY SCANDAL」には、メンバー自身が撮影したプライベート感満載の写真を多数掲載。これは箭内道彦（風と ロック）がプロデュースを手がけたもの。光を遮断した倉庫を舞台にした“SCANDALによるスキャンダル ”が、あえて使い捨てカメラを使用することで、より生々しく表現されている。

I am so upset at myself for rushing into this, and upset at them. I'm really disappointed in them. Most of the message boards I go to about SCANDAL are full of posts like "Girls in school uniforms are what make a real band" and "They're so hot, rawr" and crap like that. I thought they were better than this.... I hope they don't try anything else... like wearing Tenjo-Chiki-esque clothing or something. @_@

I just hope this book isn't entirely full of lingerie photos.

i really dislike this photobook idea, too. i dunno, i don't feel the same when i listen to the girls in general, anyway. i felt more happier and felt as if they had their own style and stuff, but i guess since BLEACH got them somewhat popular, i just don't really love them like i used to in the beginning of the year and last year. i do love "yumemiru tsubasa" though, but it just dosen't feel the same. maybe it's just me.

Yeah... I get what you're saying, and I really don't think they're the same. I mean, I only started listening to them about a month ago, but I'm seeing a lot of change now with this stupid photobook. It's so not them...Or at least who I thought/hoped they are.

Yeah, they don't feel the same anymore. Ever since I heard BEAUTeen!!, I had a bad feeling... I'm just really nervous about what this photobook turns out like...I hope it's not really dirty or anything. My mom will be wondering what the hell kinda J-pop stuff I'm buying into. And I will too.
