If I was a major Company, I'll endorse her! haha

Although this list is dreadful, they have the right to say it I guess. Just that the two reasons why they gave her are kinda just half arsed. Shouldn't they say she's too old/not popular anymore etc? Ayu is over 30 now. Most makeup companies usually aim at younger girls. And not many product can match her style/trend/legend nowadays.

But she has/had Weilder/Honda/Panasonic/Wacoal/Rimmel/Disney in the past few years or so. etc~ Ayu does still get really good deals.

I choose being realistic. I don't think that people believes she is not so suitable because she will outshine a product. that's a very naive idea.

I believe this poll was made to a couple of very important people in the advertising industry; i do agree some of the reasons are very stupid, but that's the people who makes the big choices (or in other words, they hold the power) and thus they decide who is eligible for tv adds. My guess here is that ayu is not on the gold list of some important executive/s for whatever reason, and they simply decided she is not suitable for tv adds anymore and that's why they quoted her here. Very stupid, yes.

The ridiculousness of these statements is quite funny but overall, they seem to be mean sprited and just plain stupid. Anna Tsuchiya may not the most polished girl, but let's be honest, she does good representation for the companies she promotes. And as far as Ayu, when is having a crazy large fanbase bad for a company? It makes no sense. They're just mad because they couldn't afford her anyways and they have to make up an excuse so to justify that. I don't know about the other artists as I've never listened to their music but I'm sure they won't cry about being able to represent a nasty company that would say such things in the first place.

It doesn't really matter, this list. Like, AT ALL XD.

It's not like she desperately needs more income, and I'm sure she doesn't care in the slightest.

Once again, they are not referring to her fans. They are referring to her entourage that goes with her everywhere. For a star to have an entourage in America or elsewhere, it is very common, but not in Japan. So I can imagine companies not wanting to have to deal with so many people.(plus her dogs)

In America, groupies means crazy fans so sorry for the misinterpretation if it means something different in Japan. You learn something new every day, lol. But anyways, she does have a large entourage so it's understandable that some companies wouldn't want to have to deal with that many people for one artist. But I still think that not wanting and not being able to afford are two different things. I bet if she was cheaper they'd want her to represent their companies. Because let's be honest, what major company doesn't want a major artist to push their lines?

Perhaps Ayu brings in too much of her staffs when shooting a CM, so the place gets crowded.

The company sees it as annoyance whereas the could have worked much efficiently without so many people around~

That's my opinion, because I would be easily bothered if there are too many people around,

it feels like they are observing me if I'm good enough at my job, hahaha-------

But that's not really a big problem, isn't it? People are worrying to much, heheh...

And the second reason is invalid; I love Ayu's voice! I think her voice is just normal as normal as it gets~

Who's not tired listening to the same-sounding soothsayer voice? We want something different!, hahaha-------

I am not sure if Ayu would really push their lines a lot, but then again not many other female artists in Japan would.

I don't know. I tried out Rimmel products because ayu's the spokesperson. And since then I've moved on from mascara and eyeliner to foundation and lipgloss too, so yeah, promotion by celebs really do push lines. Then again, Rimmel puts out some of the best makeup I've ever used, so the product itself needs to live up to the name and fame of the artist promoting it.

I completely agree with you. The product definetely does needs to live up to the name and fame of the celebrity promoting it in order for people to continue buying it after their initial purchase. The celebrity is used to draw people to the product and that's why companies use them. Because why would a company pay a celebrity so much money when they can just use a non famous person and pay them a lot less? It's because they believe the celebrity can push the line more. I've recently been looking into buying a Casio Baby G watch because Anna Tsuchiya's the face of the line but I don't even wear watches! And if they were using someone else who I didn't know, I probably wouldn't give those watches a first or second glance.

reading down I was thinking ayu was going to get a blast, but reading it, it sound like they dont want to use her because her large amount of groupies will bring down the building to get to ayu but you think having a huge groupie following would be good for a product but lol and yay ayu's one isn't harsh
