That release date is just something YesAsia posted. It's not official nor it means they will actually release them on 31st December.

Instead of panicking right away it seems to be harder for people to use their brains for a moment. If for instance YesAsia switched the release date to 10th April and avex didn't then YesAsia would have to change their dates once again, so to avoid that they've done what they had to ^^

wouldnt it better to put "postponed to later date" be a better option than "31 dec 2011"? but whatever. thanks.

The thing is, their database prolly requires an actual date with a DAY, MONTH and YEAR. So they can't really just write postponed to a later date, but don't worry, they've already updated the TA/Official website with the new theme so they are surely not going to keep it for the next 9 months...

I agree with you for 100% x100.
(even though I can't bear the waiting)

I'm with ya on that one, I've been doing things like garage sales, artwork, etc to raise money to send to Japan.

I think we all SERIOUSLY need to chill out (including myself) and realize that Japan has much bigger issues on their hands right now. I'm doing my best not to be selfish, I know the wait sucks. Try to consider that there are people in Japan that don't even have heat, water, or a home right now and we're all complaining about a CD release over here... not very becoming of us I don't think it will be released until like the end of May or June, that's my prediction.

I think all of us are aware of that and none of us are really saying that they should've released the cds regardless of the situation. You know there are people all over the world who constantly don't have food, water and a place to live yet we complain about cds and other stuff every other day as well...that doesn't really make us selfish and neither does this.

Yeah I know, trust me I know. I once yelled at a woman who was complaining to her waitress too much I was like, "MA'AM YOU DO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WHO DON'T EVEN GET WATER EVERYDAY, LET ALONE FOOD SO WHY DON'T YOU SHUT THE **** UP!" hahaha she was so stone-cold she didn't know what to say back (only did it because she was disturbing MY enjoyment of my meal)

I was just saying this pertaining to the people (including myself) here on AHS I know you guys are aware of the situation, all I'm saying is that let's not expect anything amazing anytime soon, the releases are gonna be postponed for a long time that's what I mean by give Japan a break.

You're one of the rare few who think that way and that's admirable and you might be right, maybe we shouldn't expect much soon as the situation in Japan is still far from being well.

I do this to people all the time.. Most are so self centered that they dont care about anything.

OT: I noticed that amazon japan hasnt said anything about the delay and it still says that they plan on shipping out the 50 singles DVD on the 1st of april.. is there any update to the delays??

Thank you. Trust me, no one over hear right now is going "omg when's (insert artists name here) releases coming out!?! I can't bear it any longer." People might be waiting quite a while for things in the entertainment industry to get back to normal.

Yeah! For now I check this forum like once a week to see if there is any new news but most of my free time is being spent actually helping Japan. If you guys want it to release sooner, start donating relief money to get Japan rollin (no pun intended haha ) again

Sorry I just disagree. What about parts of Japan that were not affected? I'm sure they're sad about the events but it's not going to affect their daily lives. Everything is back to normal for them.

I couldn't care less when they come out, thousands of people died and hundreds of thousands more and still suffering, they're homeless and they have lost everything except for the clothes on their backs. If I have to wait another month or two to watch a DVD or listen to some remixes then I'm happy to wait. Geez, stop thinking of yourselves so much and try and look at the bigger picture. Whether or not the south of Japan was affected at all by the disasters that happened/are still happening in Sendai/Fukushima, I think Ayu and the rest of the artists who have delayed their releases are being RESPECTFUL by postponing them.

This isn't to everyone, just the select few who keep whinging about delayed releases.

You disagree? Ok, I only live here.

Of course its true that the south wasn't directly effected by the actual earth quake and tsunami. But it IS effected. There is no part of Japan that isn't. I just spent the last week traveling in the south actually. My Mother in America was so freaked out by the possibility of radiation, that I decided to go on a trip to Shikoku and the southern part of Honshu to calm her down. Some places have gas shortages and various food shortages and everywhere they are trying to save electricity (often times we were driving on highways in the middle of the night that weren't lit!) Across Japan major chains like McDonalds and all convenience stores are only using the bare minimal electricity necessary to run. And of course businesses all across Japan are not doing very well right now.

So, on the topic of delayed tours, I think anyone that holds an electricity guzzling show like Ayumi right now is going to be looked upon very poorly. I think all tours will be delayed by a month or maybe even more.

People in general right now have much more important things to worry about than entertainment. Of course its fine to want the releases, I'm just saying you might be waiting a while and people should try to keep things in perspective more.

i suppressed myself to not respond to this, but I feel too intensely not to respond. your statement is like saying 9/11 only affected New York, and thie tragedy did not affect anyone outside New York, hence the rest of USA is all back to normal within no time.

it does not work that way. I find this comment unthoughtful and insensitive, ignorant and unempathic.

Like I said in another thread already; they should release ayu-mi-x 7 on some online store as digital release till they deliver the physical release. That would be very well =D
