Katy mentioned on a MTV News Interview (July 20th, when she was announcing the MTV Nominations) that the Teenage Dream era is not over yet, and that it will continue.

i got bored at the second listening..and that's a pity because i should say i loved every single of this album but i would never have chosen Last Friday Night as a single to release

I agree with E.T. Not only was his rapping totally out of place and ruined a really good song, the lyrics were like "". I actually do like rap music sometimes but it has to be done right.
