I really like the theme and the overall aesthetic of the pv--like it's really great and it's one of her best IMO. It's just the song that's off putting for me. The lyrics are wonderful, but it's just so...bland ;;. So I can't really enjoy the video as much as I want to...

I heard that!! it would be awesome to find some more translated interviews.
I always thought that namie's collab with jolin was a one time thing. Had no idea those two were actually friends. What a shocker.

It's supposed to be a nine-tailed fox outfit (the fox she portrayed in I'm Not Yours MV) lol

Namie's staff revealed backstage that they're planning a concert in Taiwan in March 2016.
In the first place Namie had work to do in the USA (Las Vegas according to some articles) but she managed to clear her schedule to come to Jolin's concert, and Jolin is very grateful of that.
Namie is a very quiet woman according to reports but she couldn't help but scream "KAWAII" when she saw Whoohoo, Jolin's dog

I don't think I Namie's dress is cute by itself but somehow in all her magic I think she looks flawless AF and she is working it.

But there is nothing saving Jolin's unfortunate ensemble.

EDIT: I'm also quite impressed with how the song's melody, theme, and the video motifs were all clearly influenced by TLC's Unpretty. Very disappointed in Namie. She's always been noticeably unique, but now she's copying another artist.

I absolutely love some of these dance tracks, but there are so many crap tracks that songs like Stranger don't feel worth it. I wish she would've backed off the EDM a little.

And for this being her THIRD bilingual record, why is her pronunciation of English still as bad as MIKA NAKASHIMA? I could understand on Uncontrolled, but she's had 5 years to work on this. BoA did English in one year, so...

I will accede on this: Namie looks like she's 21. While every other star is noticeably aging, Namie still looks like she could have just released her first single a few months ago. Whoever her dermatologist is, I want to know what they're doing to her skin. At this rate, she will look better than Cher at Cher's age.

But to be honest English phonology is very different than Japanese phonology. We already know that so in the end Namie just doesn't give a single shit about pronouncing English properly. Queen.
