YTV announces line-up for "Best Hits Kayousai 2015"

Today television network YTV unveiled the first wave of information about their annual year-end music show Best Hits Kayousai. The programme’s 2015 iteration will be broadcast live from Osaka Festival Hall and hosted by newscaster Miyane Seiji, actor and singer Wentz Eiji, and model and actress Nishiyama Maki.

There will be 18 acts performing on the special’s stage, those participating ranging from popular vocal-and-dance group Sandaime J Soul Brothers, to well known folk-pop duo Kobukuro, to up-and-coming singer/songwriter Hoshino Gen. In addition, Go Hiromi and Ikimonogakari will both be taking part in a special medley which will be voted on in real-time by the show’s audience.

Kis-My-Ft2, music video of single, "Saigo mo Yappari Kimi" completed!

"最後もやっぱり君 / Saigo mo Yappari Kimi"will be a single of the second section of the two-month- in-a-row release. This is an excellent love ballade written by Tsunku♂ for the main theme song of the movie, "レインツリーの国 / Raintree no Kuni"(released on November 21st) where the member, Tamamori Yuta, will play the leading role.

And the music video of this "最後もやっぱり君 / Saigo mo Yappari Kimi" was completed.

The theme for the music video is "A love song by someone to someone". The constantly changing views of daily life, people who wait for the train at the platform, people who spend time with their friends and families-each person who walks the streets of the city has his or her own story, and the music video depicts the image of Kis-My-Ft2 speaking as a representative of us.

The choreography was taken in charge by KABA chan. It includes impressive communication in sign language. It is the first time Kis-My-Ft2 adopted sign language for the choreography for a music video, and not only can you listen, but the message is communicated visually.

Nikkei unveils their concert mobilisation power ranking for 2015

Every year popular magazine Nikkei Entertainment releases a series of Power Rankings which arrange musical artists and other celebrities according to varying different criteria such as familiarity or interest.

Keeping with tradition, the magazine's December issue contains its yearly survey on concert attendance in Japan, ranking acts based on the overall amount of people whom attended their performances over the course of the past year.

The 2015 ranking was topped by long-running pop/rock band Mr.Children, whose “REFLECTION” Arena Tour and “Mikan” Stadium Tour brought in a combined 1,119,000 concertgoers (according to overall venue capacity) over the course of 36 different dates.

Second and third place went to popular idol group ARASHI (1,035,000 attendees from 21 dates) and dance/vocal unit Sandaime J Soul Brothers (1,002,000 attendees from 21 dates) respectively.
