I said it Nah-mee before I figured out it's actually Nah-mee-eh. So now I say it rite!

I pronounce this name "Nah-mee-eh"... But one of my closest friends says it like it was some English name >< I'm so annoyed everytime she does this.
(by the way, I don't like Namie, while my friend is a fan of her. That's why she always yells "Don't teach me how to say the name of my favourite singer!" everytime I try to say she pronounces this name in a wrong way. XD) Last edited by ShiroMai; 16th May 2008 at 07:46 AM.

I used to say it "Nah-mee-ay" but then 1) I heard it says "Nah-mee-ah" on one of her songs and 2) I started learning to pronounce Japanese.
